"I hired Beaver Valley Lawn Service (A J) as I had a water problem and it was running onto my patio. He french drained it. Well just a few days after it rained and the water came down worse then before he did his work. I paid him over $6,000. Then he came to look at it and wanted $3,100. more he said to fix it. My children said no and we got someone else to do it the right way. He also never finished what he was to do according to the contract. He was to plant grass seed and put fertilizer on where they had dug up. My son has been trying to get the money back but he acts like he has an attorney and he will send us a letter. We just want our money back. DO NOT HIRE HIM. I had to mark something in where it ask what work I had done because it does't give you an option to put in what was done at my home and it won't go through without something in the box."

From the beginning, he was open to my questions and preferences, and helped me plan and design cabinets to fit in the existing footprint but far surpassed the functionality of my 1980s cabinets. When it came time to do the demo in October, he and his crew were both friendly and professional, and cleaned up after themselves. I watched them repeatedly do calm and focused problem-solving on the fly, and they finished earlier than we expected. Then when they brought the gorgeous cabinets we chose, they were meticulous in their installation and gracious as I watched the whole process from my spot on the stairs.
