"We lived out of town and Sam handled a lot of problems for us that he didn't have too. He also took time to help us pick out different appliances and fixtures. Helped us with ideas for a laundry room when others said it couldn't be done. His sub contractors did a good job for the most part. Needed some minor follow up on some work."

"Kiefer Randall built a carport for our home to provide safe mobility for my family. After delays (due to not only having to get a variance granted , not only involving our town Zoning board , but the COUNTY as well - OH JOY!! Kiefer Randall was finally able to construct a carport to specifications set forth by both government entities. We have used Kiefer Randall multiple times. We found them on Angie's List. Each and EVERY time, Jim Randall and his team have always been very thorough and professional, from the initial planning stages to the final completion. They have always explained the process in layman' terms and have always kept us apprised throughout. There were a few bumps in the road due to something out of their control but they quickly resolved it to our satisfaction. We first contacted Jim in the summer. He will know immediately who is writing this review because hubby and I fondly referred to this as the project from Hades...only because of the government. No big surprise there. Well, we have our carport and are once again extremely happy with the professionalism of Jim, Cody (project manager), and the entire crew. The carport looks fantastic and I feel so relieved that our driveway will be safer during our harsh winters. We also know if we have any concerns - unlikely, because they do quality work - that Jim will take care of it for us. Jim accompanied me to the Zoning appeals meeting and got it done. Believe me - it wasn't an easy process. But Jim is very good at his job. He, Cody and the crew were a pleasure to work with. You hear so many horror stories about contractors and construction companies. I will tell you this is NOT the case with Kiefer Randall. We can't recommend them highly enough!!! <br />"

"The crew arrived and started the work at the time agreed. When the old roofing was almost removed, the foreman of the crew, Dave Cook, approached me to show the condition of the old roof base. I knew that we may have to address that after years of small leaks that had occurred. Dave told me what my options were and how they would affect the long term results and we decided to lay down a new decking over the existing one. I was promptly quoted a price and put in touch with Becca at the office to authorize the Change Order. I had to leave for work after that feeling the I was in good hands. When I came home from work the new decking was almost completely installed and the base layer was soon to follow. I saw how careful the base layer was rolled out to eliminate any creases. It was getting late and the forecast was for rain to come in later that night. Dave told me that they would stay until either finished or at least the roof would be flashed and water tight. When it got dark, we found some headlights for the guys to were so that they could see well enough. The roof was made water tight with one bit of roofing to be adhered. There was not enough flashing in the trailer to finish without a seam and Dave wanted to finish it with a single piece. I agreed. The weather turned to rain and clod for the next week and was not able to finish until the following wee. During that time either Dave or Becca would contact me every day to let me know what the plans were so that I was not in the dark. I really appreciated that. Overall my wife and I are very please with the professionalism, quality of work, cleanup, and communication. We will definitely use them again and recommend the to anyone."

"The repairs were completed very quickly and the work was performed carefully to insure that the leak was properly repaired. The company responded to my call within 2 hrs. I liked the fact the the contractor has a large supply of parts to eliminate trips for missing repair parts. Hrs charged were very fair. Will definitely use again."

"Work in bathroom and kitchen in tenant side went well. Installation of kitchen cabinet did not go well. Handles put on crooked, marked and damaged corner of one door under sink, end caps of counters were never finished and have fallen off.  Two weeks after, it was necessary to have them return for leaks under both of the double sinks.  Leak occurred on Saturday evening and they came to repair it on Monday evening so we had two days without access too my kitchen sink.  It was the weekend before Thanksgiving and we were preparing to have our family dinner on Sunday.  As a result, we had to move everything including the dinner to my son's house, <br />"

"<strong>The workers were punctual and very professional. The work was performed in a timely manner with minimal household disruption. My reservations as to having windows replaced in the winter were quickly forgotten with the expertise of this team. After work completion, the site was left in excellent condition. I would highly recommend this contractor.   </strong> <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in New Milford, PA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
