"Once again and with the highest confidence, we hired Russell's Contracting to convert our back entrance into a more open, useful mudroom. As promised, they arrived on time on the expected date and started by sealing off the back entrance for dust. The demolition of the closet was first done, and then the rehab began. I was amazed at the level of detail necessary to make the new mudroom perfect. From fixing the ceiling to installing new walls, taping and sanding, painting, new baseboards, and moving the overhead light, it was fun to watch. Colby was professional, exacting, efficient, clean, and asked all the right questions to ensure we were happy with the result. The new mudroom is exactly what we wanted. In addition, we asked Russell's to help us figure out how to make our open staircase to the second floor safer. Keith, Colby, and Max designed and installed a custom-built, stair-to-ceiling railing system that looks great and provides the necessary safety we were looking for. They also made it removable to accommodate large objects up and down stairs. The amount of time they spent was crazy, and the amount of math they did to ensure it was plumb and solid was above and beyond our expectations. My house was built in 1933, and this railing system looks like it could have been original to the house. It is a masterpiece. "In the fall of 2018 I contracted Ground Care Landscaping LLC to perform a yard clean up. I was quoted a fair price and told there was a several week delay in service due to weather and being overbooked. This was fine as the price was fair and I called late in the season. When the yard clean up was finally complete, the work was done well, though not quite as well as I would have expected for the estimated price. The issue comes in where the crew at my house drove a piece of equipment into the gate of my vinyl fence destroying it. They then tried to rig it back together and say it was fine. However the gate wouldn't latch or close properly, and when opened the vinyl panel falls to the ground off the hinges. I was eventually contacted by the main office that agreed to correct the issue. However they claimed the fence was installed "wrong" to begin with. Keep in mind, the gate opened and closed securely prior to someone driving through it.... Well now almost 8 months later, no one has ever shown up to fix the gate and I am going to be stuck footing the bill for it. I would never do business with or trust this company again."
