"I love my sunroom. I love them. They were really nice. Chris was a wonderful man and the girl in the office was always very helpful. I've never had a problem. Every question I had they answered it. They even brought me books because some of my neighbors wanted to use them. I totally recommend them. They were really very good. The man who put up the sunroom was just absolutely excellent. One person put up the sunroom, but I had to have a person to do the underground work, to put in the pinnings on the ground and that's a different company altogether. So, the only thing people would look out for is the company that they choose and do research on that company. They get a contractor to put in the underpinnings down in the ground that the sunroom would stand on and the guy was good. I don't know him, but I'm just saying that people would need to check on that, not just the sunroom. The man who put up the sunroom was here every morning at the crack of dawn. They're not city slickers. I would definitely use them again. It was really well done."

"Between May - October 2017 I spent a significant amount of time overseeing renovations on the 240-year-old house that my wife and I bought in Chestnut Ridge, New York. After a bad false start with a contractor who really wanted to screw me over, I was lucky to find a great general contractor called AllShawn General Construction, headed up by the inimitable Shawn Moldow. For months Shawn and his team made repairs on the house that should have been done decades ago, including replacing or repairing rotten sills, sistering floor joists so the floors stopped sagging, rebuilding a porch whose roof was in bad repair and so on. They also helped convert what was once a really crappy old laundry inside a garage into a beautiful new bathroom, laundry, and mudroom area, and also upgraded what was once a decrepit "granny flat" into a nice, properly heated bedroom. On top of this, Shawn's team also removed a whole wall full of hideous out-of-character windows and installed a beautiful French door that opened onto the 1.2-acre section behind the house. This totally changed the character of the sunroom where it was located, and made the space far more elegant and livable. Overall I was impressed with the quality of Shawn's work and am happy with the results. I'd strongly recommend him to anyone in the area who's looking for a reliable, reasonable and very friendly contractor! I'll be posting more photos of our house later once the better photographer in the family has worked her magic."

"Early summer '18 a tornado came through my property on the river in The Catskills, dropping trees everywhere, including my roof... Jason and his crew stopped the flooding into my home (especially my office area) and fixed the roof in no time. Flash forward 2 years, (Sept '20) and I'm waiting for town to issue permits for a major home renovation that Jason and his crew are scheduled to do for me and my family. AND, he's a "Nice Guy" which always helps!!"

"Firm was hired as the General Contractor. The contractual estimate was increased from the initial estimate, General contractor stated this was due to a sub-consultant error. The contractual estimate had a $1,000 error that the general contractor tried to make us pay for. The contractor made numerous errors that he tried to blame on the plans and/or the home owners. On many occasions I had to show him my set of plans for him to concur that he was incorrect. Toward the end he become more verbally abusive. Contractor was eventually fired for abandonment of the project. The following list contains the specific complaints: Not built per contract plans: 1. Foundation penetrations not sealed. 2. Exterior siding installed with corner boards. 3. Apron copper flashing was not installed. 4. Aluminum wrapped fascia was not installed. 5. Mudroom/porch door is not an Anderson door (plans call for Anderson doors). 6. Gypsum boards installed with nails, screws and glue (plans call for screws). 7. Finished nail holes have not been filled and sanded. 8. Door hardware not as specified. 9. Finished floor grout is not sealed. 10. Mud room wall built in wrong location. Other issues: 1. Egress stairs not provided per code. 2. Extensive damage to existing stone retaining wall (not within construction area). 3. Landing not properly supported. 4. Finished wall in kitchen is bowed. 5. Extensive rutting of yard by construction vehicles (not within construction area). 6. Construction debris left within the property limits. 7. Failure to properly protect the non-work zone portion of the house. 8. Potential damage to existing air-conditioning system. 9. Potential damage to existing septic tank pipes. 10. Failure to attend meetings with suppliers. 11. Doors hit obstructions when opened. 12. Requested extras for electrical work required for construction. 13. New toilet was shimmed out of level with wooden shims on new tile floor. 14. Requested payments for work not satisfactorily completed or not completed. 15. Construction schedule was extended from 4 months to 6 months. 16. Failed to communicate detailing issues and scheduling with homeowners."
