"I sat down and looked at everything that Home Genius Exteriors offers and was amazed with all that is being offered to the customers. The project manager Jose was so knowledgeable with all the questions that I had. I will definitely give him a call soon for some work in my home."

"Victors completed a full roof replacement (tear off and reshingle) 4 years ago. I recently experienced a leak around a roof vent. The service team came to the house, inspected the roof, identified the source of the leak, and had a team out 2 days later on a Sunday to replace the failed vent. They proactively replaced 2 other similar vents with improved metal vents and inspected the chimney trim and recalked it as well. I am very satisfied with their commitment to quality and service. "Overpriced, way too many money mistakes. The crew tried to hide damage. Even though they claim a project mgr., I was told by many, "not my responsibility". When the finally came to correct an " oversight", I had to supplied both the paint and the BRUSH... and they left me to clean the brush. They quoted me (and charged me) for items they did not deliver. I had to work to get a refund. They left more than 100 nails on my neighbor's property. Do yourself a favor-get a cheaper source. You might have the same issues but at least you aren't paying a premium for them."

"I had a very disappointing experience with Schoenherr Roofing. Can't believe 500+ 5 star reviews are true. I signed a contract at my home and later attempted to cancel within a few days after realizing I wanted to go another direction. They refused to return my deposit, even though they had not started any work, had not pulled permits, and had not ordered any materials. Most importantly, they also failed to provide the legally required "Notice of Right to Cancel" under the FTC Cooling-Off Rule, which gives homeowners the right to cancel contracts signed at their residence. After multiple emails communications, they finally agreed to release me from the contract but still kept my deposit ? despite having done absolutely nothing. I consider this unfair and not in line with ethical business practices. I?ve initiate to file complaints with the Michigan Attorney General, BBB, and FTC. I would caution anyone considering doing business with this company ? make sure you fully understand the"

"On Tuesday, October 28, at about 2:20 p.m., two representatives from Power Home Remodeling came to my home in Madison Heights, Michigan — a white male named Dustin and a white female driving a vehicle with Michigan license plate EYC 5730. They ignored my clearly posted “No Soliciting” sign, which even lists the city ordinance number, and the female solicitor knocked on my door anyway. When I answered, their initial sales pitch was that they had just completed a job in the neighborhood — a tactic that shows if you hire them, they will harass your neighbors to drum up more work. I confronted them immediately and informed them they were in violation of Madison Heights Ordinance §7-68, which explicitly prohibits soliciting at any residence displaying a “No Soliciting” sign — permit or not. The two clearly knew they were in the wrong, because as soon as I told them I was calling the police, they stopped knocking on doors and fled straight to their car a couple blocks away. I followed them to obtain their license plate number and encountered their supervisor, another white male, who argued aggressively, insisting their permit allowed them to ignore “No Soliciting” signs — a completely false claim and a clear display of ignorance of the law. The supervisor’s behavior was arrogant and unprofessional, defending conduct that is plainly illegal under the city ordinance. I have video evidence of the encounter and have filed a formal report with the Madison Heights Police Department and City Clerk’s Office, including the vehicle details and company name. A company whose representatives harass neighbors for business, and whose supervisor defends breaking the law, shows no respect for homeowners, property rights, or the community. Avoid Power Home Remodeling at all costs — if this is how they behave before earning your business, imagine how they’ll treat your neighbors and you afterward."

"Very professional knowledgeable and easy to work with. The whole process was smooth, I am relieved and satisfied with the results. They knocked it out the park with the point of sales contact Brandon, he answered all my questions and concerns. I needed gutters in a big way, so I shopped around and felt nervous about the process. The second phase was just as impressive, these guys are very well trained and don’t mess around. They completed the job so fast and neatly I was shocked. It’s a good feeling to get quality work for hire, and I smile when I get home now. The final phase was just as special, Fred came to the house for the payment and reviewed the work, they are going to be one of biggest companies in their industry. They have several awards and it makes sense, customer service and quality work is rare. "
