We did all of this up front before we moved in. We quickly realized many of the contractors on Angie's List were not general contractors. Time was running out so we had to find a contractor quickly because it was delaying the closing on the house. Carl and Ralph were amazing. My kitchen and bath look like they are right off of houzz."

The work included installing a new countertop, sink, faucet,, and light fixture in one bathroom and painting the bathroom; removing painted wallpaper from one large wall and smoothing and painting the wall; replacing one set of bifold closet doors and trimming off and adjusting multiple other sets so they would operate smoothly; and replacing large window panels and the door in our front entryway. Dimas, who served as the foreman for the work on our house, also smelled gas in our utility closet and on his own initiative, figured out where the gas leak was and showed us, so we could call someone to come repair that. "Norm came promptly and assessed what we requested. As we examined the house more closely with him, there were additional areas that needed attention, as they were soft and needed to be replaced. A complete repainting was advised. After getting an estimate, we agreed to all of the repairs and decided to have the house power-washed, caulked and painted. Gutters were to be cleaned, too. The repairs began even sooner than estimated and the two men worked tirelessly on a 95 degree day with awful humidity and got all repairs done in one day. Several days later, power-washing began, then caulking and painting which took about a week. Once completed, Norm came over for an inspection. A couple of very minor points were corrected that very day. We are happy with the project results and will call him again if needed."
