"In a word, fantastic. In a process that took over a year for me to concede that it was truly time to replace our old unit, ductwork and all, I began using this company to service the old unit and another, downstairs unit. Beginning this business relationship with the maintenance and service, I became more and more impressed with how this company does its business on a day to day basis. A few weeks ago, it was obvious that we needed to replace the old system, so I contacted Mr. Robert Deese to give me some preliminary information on the specifications of various systems. Then, we (my wife and I) invited Mr. Deese to visit our home to assess what would fit our needs. I'm a retired Army Sergeant Major, and I'm picky about all the details of a business decision...and I prepared an entire sheet of questions to ask Mr. Deese before he arrived. Well, Mr. Deese answered them all. In fact, I probably asked the same questions three different ways...and Mr. Deese answered them all. Then, I asked him even more questions about their install crews and how they go about doing their business inside our home. I will tell you that Mr. Deese, the install crews, and everyone associated with this company are awesome. The crew took apart our old "dinosaur" of a unit in our upstairs attic and installed this beautiful, new 18 SEER Trane system in less than two days. I was astounded. Plus, these are some of the nicest folks that I've ever done business with. Superb, and highly professional. All of them. The unit itself is very, very quiet when it runs. Outside, it sits on a sturdy base, and I never hear it when it comes on. The bottom line is that there is a reason that this company sits atop the Angie's List rankings with overwhelming numbers of folks who are satisfied customers. Lastly, I thank Mr. Deese for setting everything up - and I thank the installers Eric, Tony, and Edgar for a job well done. Much appreciation! Anyone can contact me if they need me to explain, further, what a great company this is. Cape Fear Air Conditioning and Heating is this area's best in my humble opinion!"

"Perfect. I know this because I had a different company come out, say they would install 7-10, after 11th day started getting run around, 20th day I called this company. They came same day, installed within 4 days, submitted my rebate from Duke for me, comes with excellent warranty and they offer a service plan cheap enough I can afford. Single woman who cant tolerate heat along with aging dogs, they put my needs in first. Very happy. Will have them back to install hot water heater! I didn't like that they added $500 to billing to get me the 0% for 5 yrs payment plan but it is what it is in this day."

"Removed old hot water tank and replaced it with a tankless hot water heater. Work was done in crawl space with less than six feet height available in work area. All done in a few hours last September. It's now the following August (11 months or so later). Everything seems to be working okay. Workmen were polite, professional, timely, focused on the job, carried away all the old parts and cleaned up well---we were quite pleased with the whole process."

"The professionalism of the service provider was great. The price for the installation services was atrocious. I was charged nearly $1800.00, most of it going to installation fees. Examples: To replace a $10.00 diverter valve which took 15 minutes, the installation fee ~$245.00. The fans cost around $300.00. The installation charge over $800.00. The hose bib cost ~$6.00, installation fee was $290.00. Future customers should be aware of these excessively high installation fees."
