"Maintenance resulted in repairs being required. The Dual Capacitor on the AC unit required replacing and a leak was found. The Tech was great. He showed me where the leak was and fixed it. He also had me watch as he tested the Capacitor and explained the results to me. He had the required parts on his truck. He made the repairs and the unit is working fine. The cost was reasonable. I have a new HAVC man. I look forward to working with him again."

"I had problems with our upstairs unit and Nelson's determined there was a leak in the coil allowing all the gas to escape. Since the unit was 10 years old, I decided to replace it rather than just the coil which was expensive in and of itself. Steve Nelson came out at the appointed time and surveyed the situation. He gave me three different quotes depending on the size of unit and additional items. I went with the middle price and scheduled the work to be done. Robert and Jeremy came on the scheduled morning and got right to work. Before starting, they put down a layer of plastic over the carpet to protect it. I thought it would take all day, but they were done in six hours, and it works beautifully. I chose Nelson's originally because they service American Standard which is what I was replacing."

"First Shane checked the outdoor unit and quickly found that there was a bad capacitor that was preventing the compressor from starting up.  He replaced that with a spare he had in his truck and the system was working again.  Then he checked the unit in my crawl space to figure out why the heat strips weren't doing their job.  It turned out that there was a bad heat sequencer preventing the heat strips from coming on.  He didn't have that part on him and gave me a quote for another service call to fix them, but suggested that it might be a better idea to replace the unit altogether (which I already knew).  It's a 29 year old indoor unit and 15 year old outdoor unit and it's been running on miracles at this point.
He got me a fair quote for a replacement system that I'm thinking about proceeding with.
I should mention Shane was very courteous, knowledgeable, and he even put on little shoe covers any time he came in the house to prevent messes.  Also, the office was a pleasure to work with.  I called them that morning and the tech was at the house by noon.  At first they said he'd be there within an hour, but then called back to let me know his first call was running a bit longer than expected.  It doesn't bother me when they're running behind as long as I know, so I'm pleased that the office took the time to inform me.

"Outstanding. We had been stood up by two other AC business and I was very so I looked at Angie's List and found Automatic Climate Heating & Air Conditioning. I called and phone was immedtately by the service tech. I told him my problem and he asked how soon would I need a technician to which I replied as soon as possible. He then said he could have someone to us between 11:00 AM and 1:00PM which I said that would be perfect. Told me he would have the tech call when he was on the way. Received a phone call from Matt, the technician about noon to say he would arrive in 20-30 minutes. Matt pulled up at 12:25 PM and after introductions he asked where he could start Showed him to our attic where the upstairs unit was located. Matt came downstairs about 45-50 minutes with one big question which was..."When was the last time we had the units serviced, Our reply was 2002 to which answered many questions." He show us pictures he had taken of some problems (one or two major one and a few minor ones. My wife asked about a service agreement and the cost. Matt explained the types that they offered and that if we took an agreement today, we could exercise the Spring Service so we said we would do it. after a total of 51/2 hours we had air conditioning up and downstairs. My wife and I were very pleased with MATT, He is very knowledgeable concerning his work even on old units that were probably over 38 years old. We were so impressed we asked if we could ask for him if when we needed our fall servicing. He said many of his customers did the same also.
