"The 5 star reviews said honest, efficient and timely. It just rang a bell for me so when I called friday after lunch he (Joel) told me staight up that he was booked on a job in town until mid-week and would not be availible 'til then. I said OK and would call him back. I shut off the water on friday and waited until wednesday. I called back wednesday morning and he said, "Hello George". We worked out a time and his "apprintace" (Daniel) was there right after lunch. A very nice young man. We looked at the situation, I came inside to check the dog then went back outside, Daniel was on the phone with his boss. When he got off he suggested a cheap possible fix. I said let's do it. The pipe was an old one connected to the shed which came down in Katrine, so we cut it off, changed the faucet and that did the trick ! His price was more than reasonable and Joel came by to check it all. Daniel and Joel are great guys and I'd recommend them to anybody ! Can I add a few more stars to this review ?! God bless you guys ! !"

"We were scammed, he said he cleaned our hot water heater, then proceeded to say our ignitor needed to replaced but kept insisting our hot water heater was on its last leg, and we needed something new, he said he would have to return another time, then charged us 475$. I knew something was up so I canceled service with him, a different plumber we trusted came by and said it’s obvious no service was done and said our hot water heater was fine. They replaced the ignitor and cleaned our system properly for only 505$."

We were impressed with their problem solving capabilities. They really do take pride in their work and took the extra time to do the job properly. Mike also rebuilt the flapper system in our toilet. Another company had installed the system improperly, and it had been running intermittently ever since. Now the toilet is quiet and works great, and with the high-quality Rheem water heater they installed, we never run out of hot water. We will be using and recommending Bob's Plumbing from now on. "Potentially since new ownership has taken over, Surgis is no longer a trustworthy company. They have showed a lack of integrity and professionalism that goes beyond what I have ever experienced with a company. 1. They installed our system and we have spent 15K+ with them over the years. We have always had Surgis upkeep our system and have trusted them to do a good job. 2. We noticed moisture in the attic and asked Surgis to look into it. They improperly diagnosed the issue and the result ended up creating mold around our vents. We payed 1600 in mold remediation and drywall repair. 3. They properly diagnosed the problem and admitted it was not addressed correctly and this should have been caught during the install process. When given the quote for the work, we asked for a price reduction since this was a quality control issue on their end. 4. A manager called us and stated this was a discounted price even though this was not noted on the paperwork. During these conversations, Scott hung up on us.we requested calls from upper management but never received a call back. We really just wanted the issue resolved and decided to proceed to schedule the work with Surgis. 5. When we received the breakdown of the work, we noticed the cost of the vent covers which we already had purchased prior to. We called asked if they could use ours to help reduce price. Instead, they canceled the work and said they would never work on our unit even though we currently have a warranty with them. After calling back to try and get the work scheduled, they stated they no longer had the technical staff to do the job. 6. After getting quotes from other companies, the prices we were getting were significantly less, showing that Surgis lied about a discount or they are just majorly price gouging all customers. We also asked other companies if they would be able to do the work quickly since Surgis made it seem so technical. All other companies told us anyone who installs a system or does duct work needs to know how to do the work we needed or customers would be dealing with the moisture that we found ourselves with. 7. I called Surgis back as a final attempt to get management to work with us and was told we have your information they wouldn’t take any additional information for me. My tone wasn’t heated and I asked the phone rep to please just take the notes and request a call from upper management and she hung up on me. If Surgis was truthful in their reason to cancel the work on our unit, they currently don’t have the staff that has the skills to properly install AC units. If you have Surgis install your unit and find errors, they will not work to resolve the issue and will likely charge you more than necessary for repairs. You would think some upper management would have intervened but that never happened. I get that other staff was probably sick of us calling to talk about our issue, but hanging up on customers is not how to deal with it. If upper management had called, we wouldn’t have needed to keep following up. I cannot warn people enough about this company. Stay away."
