"The technicians showed up the next day to give us a quote, and then (once we agreed to the quote) they were able to start work immediately (same day). They installed a chimney cap, sealed two other old chimney pipes (no longer in use), sealed the stone of the chimney itself and also installed a flexible crown seal. It was more than we thought to have done on the chimney, but the peace of mind is worth it. They finished in about 1.5 hours and did a great job. Would hire again."

"I was overdue for getting my chimney cleaned. After researching I called up Always Affordable Chimney. Despite it already being December, John came to inspect a couple of days later and told me we needed a liner for the chimney furnace and that it was a priority safety-wise, despite needing a creosote cleaning in the fireplace. John showed me the photos and explained it all as well as showed me inside the furnace flue. They came to do the work a couple of days after I called to confirm. The crew, led by John, was professional and thorough, answering any questions we had. They worked with me for making payment arrangements and threw in the creosote cleaning at no charge. He was so proactive in identifying areas that could be of concern/lead to safety issues and found issues that multiple other professionals including other chimney sweeps did not find. He gave us a lot of his time for a super fair price and was honest that he didn’t believe we needed a cleaning. He identified a huge issue with our fireplace and immediately presented a solution so that we could use it in time for Christmas! He also noticed a faulty pipe in our HVAC system which the other vendor also missed. Would recommend 1000%! What a true professional with a tremendous work ethic!"

"Mark S. was very responsive. He reviewed our situation and provided an estimate via email rather quickly. The chimney wall tiles were gradually falling and causing drafting issues. We immediately felt comfortable in hiring Mark and scheduled the work after the holiday. Mark, Ben and Dan arrived promptly and were courteous. They protected the basement storage area from any dust or debris by putting up plastic sheeting and laying down tarp. When they were finished, the area was spotless. The cement patch work on the wall opening was done nicely too. The replacement connections to oil water heater and two oil furnaces looks great as well. "Reached out to Peter by phone on a Friday afternoon for an estimate on a chimney cap and animal guard. Within 10 minutes I had an estimate and an hour later the crew was on the roof completing the job. While on the roof they found that the vent boot was completely deteriorated and replaced that as well. All communication before, during, and after the job was very professional and timely.
