"My parents and I live in a old brick apartment building in Hoboken that is from the 1880s. The bathroom in our apartment had not been updated since the 1940s. We needed help ASAP. We checked out Cesar s page and wanted to hire him immediately. The reviews speak for themselves. When he came into our apartment to give us a quote we knew that this was contractor we needed to get the job done. Cesar is affordable, friendly, and very accommodating to any issues or concerns you have before starting the project. Two massive issues with our project were that my dad has spinal & walking issues, so we needed the floors clear of all tools and materials at the end of the each day so that father could walk efficiently through the apartment. The other big issue was that we only have 1 bathroom, so Cesar agreed to work with us on pulling the toilet off and on as every day finished so that we did not have to leave our building to use the toilet. Him and his crew are the best and take pride in their work so that owner is happy with the final result. We brought the bathroom down to the bare bones and rebuilt it back up. I worked with him every step of the way to make sure that he needed all materials to get the job done in the time we needed. This project was an intense remodel with some of the hardest demo and substrate materials that an old bathroom can have. He didn t think anything of it. He has veteran experience in the field and this remodel only took 3 weeks. We are very impressed with Cesar s craftsmanship and professionalism and we will be hiring him again for any future interior projects."

Great website, appears to be professionally designed and maintained, I like what they do (judging from the content in the website) but I am outside their service area. I don't live in that area. If I owned a home or apartment in that area, I would hire them."

"MC Home did an incredible job customizing our new home. We found them August 2020, moved into the house October 2020 and began work in November. The crew was a delight to have at the house everyday while we were home working, of course noisy with the demo but we made it work! Availability for materials/doors/windows delayed the project at times which was out of their control. Word of advice during home remodel during Covid, don't delay decision making! Eric did a great job explaining things that we didn't know or other ways to think of how to build/style. The sunroom is hands down our favorite room in the house. The fireplace needed a makeover - MC Home gave some great suggestions on trim/moulding styles and it was done in a week. Overall, I appreciated the time Eric and the team took to make sure we understood the process and keeping us in the loop as it progressed each week. Project costs were reasonable and in line with industry standard. We'll definitely recommend them to friends/family and use MC Home in the future!"

"The job was completed by the agreed upon price, and the house was secure and warm again, within a week, as Pete promised. The interior work will be ongoing, as it was the holidays, he will come back in a few weeks to finish the interior of the attic. As noted we have hire Pete during the last 4 years for various projects, if something breaks or is not working he comes back and tries to repair or re-install it. And it generally is a item that I purchased! through no fault of his that it has failed! There are times when a manufacture discontinues making the item and parts, so it is the homeowners responsibility to replace it at their cost, which we had to do once and realize it happens, it is part of the construction/renovation process!"

"These guys did a "better-than-expected" job of replacing my rotted joists and adding brand new 5/4 inch premium decking around my oval pool. See photos for proof. The results are spectacular! They applied the latest technology of joist taping for waterproofing, - and used a 45-degree deck angle jig tool for screwing the decking boards into the joists, - which is claimed to minimize splintering. I've never seen this before. Traditional decks screw the decking boards directly into the joists at 90 degrees as in my old deck, thus eventually ending up in splintering and rotted joists and swimmers getting splinters in their feet. These guys applied newer construction techniques to avoid all these problems. In addition, if you look at my rails and framing, they look perfectly square which is a testament to their superior craftsmanship and meticulous attention to details and planning. They also exhibited flexibility, as per my new mid-job-stream request of remodeling my old heavy single decking gate into a new double-open swing type gate for ease of use. I highly recommend David and Keith for their excellent skills in designing and building or remodeling your outdoor decking project, - as they made my backyard deck look like a resort! – On a scale of 1 -10, I give them a 10++."

"In a word, the overall experience was Excellent! Starting with my initial introduction to Dave via his on-site visit to gather information for an estimate, I was very impressed... he arrived on-time and with his plumbing and electrical sub-contractors. The three did a thorough walk-thru and review of the architect's blueprints. Dave returned his written estimate quickly, and was the only contractor I engaged who provided an estimate with breakout details (ie demo and framing would be $x, electrical $x, plumbing $x, etc.) vs a "one price covers everything". I selected Dave from the three contractors being considered because he provided a very fair price, had a high number of very positive reviews (plus I directly called many of the names on his referral list, and all were glad to give their recommendation based on their experience with Dave and his company) and also because Dave shared his insights and answered questions in a way I'd expect he'd do with an immediate family member. Once the contract was signed, I was introduced to his excellent office staff. Bonnie did a fantastic job working through all the items necessary before the start of the project, and then Carol expertly oversaw all the details once the job began. Kudos to both for making the entire E2E process as painless as possible... can't thank you both enough! The job itself started a couple months later, and that was due to the full calendar of Dave's previously contracted jobs... so word to the wise... don't wait as I did until late Spring/early Summer to sign the contract and think your job will start immediately. Given the quality of the work Dave and his team provide, the prospect of potentially having to wait a bit for start is well worth the wait. The job involved demolition of an existing master suite extension (down to the foundation) and then re-frame/re-build from ground up. Dave's framing team have worked together for years and certainly have their roles/responsibilities mastered... everyone did their part expertly and in perfect synch with the work of their peers. Once framed and closed in, the job transitioned into finishing activities, and this is where Dave's done a great job of vetting a set of great sub-contractors he's hired for many years now. Everyone of the subs used I'd recommend to anyone (plumbing, flooring, tile, drywall, paint, insulation). I felt each of them treated their job with the same quality level and detail they'd display when doing the same job at their own home. So kudos to Dave for aligning himself with such a strong set of subs, as he knows his own positive reputation is directly linked to the quality of those he hires/recommends. Throughout the entire job, Carol did a great job of coordinating all the multiple activities, kept me current on what I could expect next in the work schedule, and abreast of how the billing was tracking against the original estimate. I'm pleased to share the total cost was perfectly aligned with the original estimate. And that was not a surprise, as Carol kept me posted with each phase of the project how we were tracking against the original estimate. The result of the completed project was a master suite that met/exceeded all of my expectations. I highly recommend Dave to anyone looking to remodel or build a home... the experience I had was top notch from start to finish..."
