I was impressed with the evaluator and had them in first place based on his presentation. Support staff called back on Monday and I was told that a bid would arrive on Friday (11 days after the first call). I stressed that I was eager to make a decision, and that 10 days seemed like a long wait when most providers had bids in 1-3 days after the visit. The support staff said that the following Friday would be the soonest possible. I called Friday morning to verify that a bid was coming that day and was assured that it was. No bid was received by 4 pm, so I called again and got voicemail. I have not heard back from them. I don't know if it is a case of cruelty or incompetence, but it is surely unprofessional to string me along for 12 days when others took 1-3 days. If they decided not to bid, they could have told me rather than "ghosting" me and wasting my time with false promises."
