"Install went great. We love our new door. The installers took the time to do it right. They removed the original door without making a big mess or just "banging it out" it was removed smartly to not damage anything that was supposed to remain. They then assessed what they had to work with and built up where needed to make the install of the new door as secure as possible. The new door went in smoothly and looks fantastic. Al throughout the install they would answer any question I had or my children had. They also took care to make sure the alarm wires and doorbell cam were protected from harm during the install and that they worked as expected when done. "After submitted a quote through Angies list, Derek contacted me right away and within 24 we had a deal to install garage door. Garage door came in within the reasonable time frame Derek told me it would. Installation started at 8:45 am and was done sometime between 1-1:30pm. I paid 1,200 for door, springs, hardware, tracks and much more. Some places quoted me $1,200 for just the door and installation. Crews cleaned up all the old garage door pieces nicely, let me know when they where finished and tested the door with me. I couldnâ t be happier with my new garage door."

"When American Jewel installed the door I gave them A grades as I thought they did an excellent job.  But after using the door for a few weeks I noticed the dead bolt didn't close completely, but only about 2/3, and also noticed the screen door was no longer aligned properly, so although it closed and looked right, the door was slightly off and it would no longer lock.  I called American Jewel and they scheduled the installer to return and make the minor corrections.  The installer did not show up.  When I called American Jewel again, they did not return my calls. I complained to Angie's List, and via their complaint resolution process American Jewel contacted me.  They were very apologetic and attributed it to a mix up, accepted responsibility and sent the installer to my home to make the minor corrections.  I would use American Jewel again, despite this hiccup, as my wife and I like the door they installed, feel we received excellent value, and ultimately American Jewel followed through on the minor problems I described and corrected them all."
