"Sean C. did an expert repair of our dramatic water leak into our garage on Saturday afternoon! He "knows his stuff" very well, and is a very congenial person with whom to work. We would definitely call on Sean at your company, if he is available again. Thank You for his wonderful service."

"We bought our pool 3 years ago and that experience was outstanding. We chose Pleasant Pools not because they were the cheapest bid (they weren't) but because we liked the owner and had a good feeling about doing business with him after our consultations and design meetings. Boy did that gut feeling ever turn out to be right on target.
The entire experience was very positive from beginning to end. They use a very high tech simulation program to show you a YouTube video of what your pool and spa will look like. We ended up with a rock waterfall and spillover spa but we changed things several times and they would just reprogram the simulation and let us see what it would look like. They were patient while we decided what we wanted. They even include the back of your house and the layout of your yard in the simulation. The final video looks "exactly" like what we ended up with.
We couldn't have been more pleased with everything up to the point of our first swim but that was just the beginning of what will now be a long term relationship with Pleasant Pools. The service for the past three years has been outstanding and we go to the Mustang, OK store for our supplies. We had a pool pump go out the second summer and they had it replaced the next day under warranty and at no labor charge.
But the crazy over the top service occurred this past week when the weather was dangerously cold. The temperatures were down in the single digits most of the week and wind chills near or below zero. We came home one evening and something had obviously gone wrong no doubt due to the extreme cold. The spa was only 2/3 full and was spewing frozen mist all over the deck. We were concerned about waiting until the morning to call fearing we might lose thousands in equipment. So we actually tried to call the company owner on his cell phone that we still had from when the pool was being built. He took our call and tried to help me troubleshoot several things to determine the problem. When it became obvious to him that there was an issue that was serious because of the cold and there was a risk of damaging equipment, he drove an hour from his home to our home in Mustang. Then in 14F weather with wind chills near zero he laid on the ground and drained each piece of our equipment to protect it from freezing damage. He also open check valves to get the water out of the pipes above ground to protect them.
After he had everything drained and protected he assured us as soon as the temperatures rose above freezing he would have a crew back out to get everything hooked back up and running. I estimate he saved us in the neighborhood of $7k-$8k in lost equipment by driving an hour to our house late at night in horrible freezing conditions.
Honestly, we were so grateful and stunned that the owner or a company with multiple locations across the State of Oklahoma with hundreds of employees would personally come and do something like this for us to save us from incurring this sort of expense. Who on earth does something like that? It is my opinion that just about any other company I could have used wouldn't have even answered the phone at 9:00pm on a night like that. I would have lost thousands in equipment and broken pipes and they would have just made more money selling us new equipment and charging us for digging up frozen pipes.
I would add that the attitude of this company owner permeates down through his staff as well. We are Pleasant Pools customers for life and will never consider using another Pool company for service, supplies or any other pool need.
I HIGHLY recommend this company.

"I was searching Home Warranty providers after a bad experience with my 7 year, soon to be terminated "former" Fidelity Home Warranty service provider. Warranty service providers are essential, for they step in and "act" when life deals you an "Oh Crap" situation like your refrigerator suddenly quits. Every high dollar appliance in a home has a life span that will end whether your prepared for it or not. It's a common occurance that leads to unexpected higher debt concerns while you frantically attempt to save your food from going bad. Got a minimum of $1,700 to get a new one? A truck or a really good friend to borrow theirs to pick it up? Plus time to allow it to achieve proper temperature to transfer your temp sensitive food! Well if you haven't experienced this type of event, in your life, you will! I began by doing some easy research online like searching for best Home Warranty providers. I put some inquiries out to prospective providers and as expected, the sales calls began to ring on my phone. They all have why "they" are the best provider - so take notes and compare policies. Ask whether they cover swimming pools, septic systems, roof repairs etc. So my phone rings with an out-of-state area code and it's Zach from Choice Home Warranty. While on the call, this enthusiastic salesman hit all the "trigger" items I was looking for; *Annual Service Price *Price per claim deductable *Response time You know, all the "need to know" info that helps you make an informative decision. I started paying $550/year 7 years ago in 2014 with my old service provider. The per claim fee was $65. Today in 2022, it's $710/year and $85/claim. Was it worth it you ask? If I figure the math, my total cost over 7 years and only 4 claims was $4,450 or $636/year. This cost paid to replace my pools salt cell and chlorine generator ($1,800 in parts alone), 2 separate Air Conditioner repairs which replaced the coil fan motor, a circuit board replacement, system coil cleansing, relays and a capacitor. (No idea of how much my total cost would have been. I paid $65 twice. Nice huh?) 1 roof repair that replaced the "Cricket", which is a 15' roof section elevational change just below the ridge line. It's important to remember that these repairs don't include "hidden costs" which are personnel and service labor rates. Something you will pay for without a Warranty Service. Here's the best part of the call from this AWESOME salesman. He offered me 6 year "fully transferable", rate locked for life" service policy that when divided out by 6 is LESS THAN WHAT I WAS PAYING ANNUALLY, 7 YEARS AGO!!! So, is a Home Warranty plan a safe bet??? I have a 9 word answer for those without a Choice Home Warranty service plan. YOU BET YOUR DRIPPING SWEATY BUTT CRACK IT IS!!! Props to Zach, YOU DA MAN!!! "I pay the monthly fee that allows me discounts and priority service. I thought it was a fair quote. I like the company and the work performed before. They started the dig then we got about 2 weeks of rain which is not their fault. They are professional and handled everything here as professionally as they can. Chris was the plumber.  I went with them because I used them and trust them. I already pay a monthly fee and I trust the previous work."

"The new fixture was installed fine. The problem with our ceiling light was identified, but could not be repaired that day. I didn't feel I received $200 worth of electrical services.
We also paid $99 for a complete evaluation of the electric wiring throughout the house. The evaluation performed was comprehensive and explained thoroughly, but the estimate for the repairs were very high.

This firm was responsible for installing my Jacuzzi walk-in tub 16 months ago (which they did, beautifully, efficiently, and cleanly). The hot-water tap on the tub began to malfunction, and Community Builders brought new hardware and installed it with no fuss or delay.

My tub works perfectly, and since there is a 10-year-warranty, the service/repair call cost me nothing.

FAQs for swimming pool or accessories repair or service projects in Newcastle, OK

A pool light replacement often doesn't require draining the water. Most pool lighting systems include sufficient cable length to lift the fixture onto the deck for servicing. The process involves shutting off power at the circuit breaker, removing the mounting screw, and carefully extracting the unit. Professional technicians follow established protocols to maintain safety during this procedure, as the combination of electricity and water requires proper precautions throughout the replacement process.

Replacement intervals vary significantly by light type. Incandescent bulbs require changing every 1,000 to 5,000 hours of operation, while LED options can function for 20,000 to 30,000 hours before needing replacement. Fiber optic lighting falls between these extremes, offering close to 6,000 service hours. Your usage patterns will affect these timeframes, and regular inspection for moisture penetration or connection problems helps prevent premature failures regardless of light technology.

LED pool lighting commands higher prices because these fixtures incorporate sophisticated electronics, superior waterproofing, and premium materials to withstand harsh pool chemicals. The extended operational life—up to six times longer than conventional bulbs—offsets the initial investment over time. Their significantly reduced power consumption also translates to lower electricity expenses throughout their lifespan. Many LED systems also offer programmable color options and effects not available with basic lighting technologies.
