"When I submitted my request through Angies List, Steve from Cincinnati Door, called right away and talked me through the problems I was having with the garage door, asking me to describe some things as well as the age of the garage door opener. He was great at explaining things and quoted me a price of $429 to repair the garage door, replace the keypad outside the door, replace the touchpad next to the entrance to our home and 2 remotes. Because of everything he went through, I felt really comfortable that our cost would be $429. When my other request for quote contacted me, they could not give me that same information. So I chose Cincinnati Door and Window. As soon as the repair guy arrived and looked at my door, he tells me that generally it's best to repair BOTH springs, since it is most likely going to fail soon. He then also needed to replace the coils on the rollers for the garage door. That changed my quote from $429 to final price being $568. I can understand the the coils, and not being aware of those until they arrived. BUT, I feel like it would have been nice if it was mentioned that I most likely needed to have the other spring replaced. I would have been better prepared for the price to jump. Other than that, the work was done well. It is very squeaky when opening the door, I'm hoping that will change with a little time."

"This has got to be one of the best Angi experiences I've ever had. I put the request in for service of my garage door around 7am. One of my (appropriately) torsion spring cables snapped out of place on the door and required replacement. The door wouldn't function well/at all as it was, so I needed to get it fixed quickly so we could use the garage and not need to leave it open all day. I was contacted by Alex, the owner, about 30 minutes after I put the request in. We talked through my issue, sharing pictures via text of what had broken so he knew what was going on. He reported he'd be out the same day, and between the shared pictures and his general knowledge he showed up with the right parts, got the work done quickly, and all is now well. Total turnaround time was less than *six freakin' hours* and I am thrilled with how well it all went. Not only would I recommend this business for general repairs, I plan on using them in the future to replace the garage doors when we are ready to move forward with that upgrade. Would get 6 stars if I could give them."
