"I have hired Tanzer Sprinklers for 2 jobs now. Their service is excellent. On the first job the salesman came out and had all the literature pertaining to the products he was going to install. The prices were very competitive. I had 3 estimates done. Tanzer was not the cheapest, however they were giving me the best equipment. When I asked other estimates for the exact same setup/equipment, they couldn't do better. The installation team is also excellent. They took care of my property and I got to watch them use advanced equipment for the first system install, and for the second install on our new home they had to dig trenches by hand in the rain. "I moved in to my home in 1997.  The sprinkler system never was used since I moved in and was presumably unusable.  Last fall, I received a notice from the water district threatening fines if I didn't do a back-flow test.  Discussion with the water district led to the conclusion that the cheapest approach might be to disconnect the system from the water main.  My plumber couldn't identify where the connection was.  In desperation, I called Automatic Sprinkler, because, based on the placard on the sprinkler clock, they did the original install.  <br /> When he (don't recall the name) came, he said the system was over 30 years old and was not repairable, so indeed the best solution was to do the disconnect.  He came and did his a few days later. <br /> I feel this firm is very professional, because they stood behind their work and solved my problem, even though I was never their  customer. <br /> <br />"
