"George came to price an outlet installation for my new washer. He was so direct and honest and reasonable that I hired him to do it on the spot. Two weeks later the light in my bathroom ceiling fan went out. I called him to come out and instead he diagnosed the problem (correctly) through text and led me through some simple steps to fix it. If I could cook like my mother I would have baked him a pie. Instead I'm writing this review so that everyone knows what a great electrician and person George is."

I made the big mistake of hiring someone a family friend recommended and they diagnosed it incorrectly and then basically disappeared on me. Anyway, it took a few weeks but they repaired it today and I was impressed with their courtesy and getting the job done very quickly and successfully. I felt like I was being dealt with honestly. We had some eye sore light figures and V. ISA came and installed recessed lighting. They were punctual, professional and kind. They protected my furniture and cleaned up before they left. "These guys always do a great job.  Pete, the owner, stays on top of everything, and he has a knack for hiring people who do good work.  There are also always professional, friendly and easy to work with. <br /> On more than one occasion, they have gone above and beyond to help me out and make sure things are right.  In one case, the general contractor for a project we were working on disappeared and Pete was instrumental in helping me clear some of the city inspections (like the smoke detectors) that the GC left hanging. <br /> I know that sometimes people have trouble reaching Pete, and I know why.  I have personally never had that happen, so I gave them an A on responsiveness based on my own experience, but if you do have trouble getting ahold of them and you can afford to wait a week or two and try again, your patience will be rewarded. <br /> The prices charged are reasonable: fair, but not low.  If you're determined to find the cheapest electricians in the area, I'm sure Angie's List can help with that but you're on the wrong page at the moment.  Since bad wiring can burn down my house with me inside, I'd rather skip the cheapest and get the best guys I can find.  These are them. <br />"
