"I received A+ service from Granite Works. I met Bruno Valente, one of the co-owners, on my first visit. He was very friendly and helpful, not pushy like some sales people. The slab I liked the best was marked sold.  In a follow up discussion with Bruno, my brother found out that the sister to that slab was available. Bruno gave it a rating of 11 on a scale of 1 to 10, and he was right.  Bruno held the slab for a few days until I could get there. Purchased it that day, and he held it for 5 months at no charge. Many companies my brother called on my behalf would not hold a slab longer than 30 days.
When my brother was visiting from out of town, they were kind enough to bring it out of storage so that he could see it.  That day, we met Art Rivera who spent considerable time with me us and provided invaluable advice about a new counter I was adding.  He also provided other design suggestions on the backsplash and paint color, which I followed with great results. That was an extra bonus I didn't expect. So, if Art gives you advice, you should definitely take it.
The templater, Glauber (hope this is the correct spelling), was extremely detail oriented and communicated well with my carpenter and his assistant. He made a suggestion for the end cap of the new counter and the handrail behind it that made it a true work of
art.  Gus Valente (co-owner), with assistance from Eduardo (stone cutter), did a great job of deciding what parts of the stone would go where in my kitchen and fireplace.  They have an amazing eye. I was so impressed by their finding parts of the slab in totally different areas that would best connect at the seams. The installers were terrific and that process went very smoothly. I have 2 seams that are barely noticeable.  Their work in the kitchen and my fireplace surround was impeccable.
Granite Works exceeded my expectations, and I'm very picky.  My counters are a work of art.

"I purchased a granite countertop from Granite Vision. The entire process went extremely well and my countertop was installed very quickly - less than two weeks from when I first selected the material even with the Christmas holiday in the middle of that time. I went to their showroom in Woodbridge and selected my granite at which time I paid a $500 deposit. They came out the next day to measure. After the measurement, I changed my mind about adding the 4 inch backsplash. This was no problem at all- they simply came back to do a second measurement and it did not delay the installation at all. They were very professional.
The counter is beautiful. Both Ronnie and Joe were incredibly knowledgeable, responsive and kept me informed during all steps of the process. I highly recommend them."

"Cornelio and his team did an outstanding job. From the beginning, Cornelio was professional, reasonable, and easy to work with. I stopped by the house almost every day during the 10 week process. Each time, I was impressed by how Cornelio did not take any shortcuts, but rather, made sure everything was done right. The pictures show that the final product turned out very well, but they don't show the craftsmanship behind the walls. Everything was inspected and passed the first time. Due to a minor water leak a section of drywall about 8' x 2' had been cut out. The trim in this area and on the other side of the hall plus a closet had to be placed as well. The drywall and trim had been removed due to a small amount of mold from the water leak.  I called George's painting due to all the great reviews here on Angie's list.  I received an estimate on this work and in addition I asked for an estimate on some painting.  I thought the estimate was very fair. George was extremely professional and even came to look at what the job entailed late on a Friday evening as he was returning from other jobs on his way back to his office. This was absolutely fine with me as I had no plans to go anywhere.  George sent my estimate first thing Monday morning.

In the end I used George's only for the drywall and trim work. The job was easily scheduled and the 2 man crew did an outstanding job. I couldn't even tell there had been any damage. The trim work was outstanding as well with nice miter cuts. It lined up well with the existing molding where the miter cuts met.  It only took them approximately 4 hours to do the job.  I plan to call George's in the future for outside painting of my house.

"They came right out and gave a reasonable estimate. The two guys that came out to do thw work arrived on time, polished the marble and cleaned up afterwards. I noticed a streaky area after they left, so I called them and they turned around and came right back and re-did that section and did a great job."

Every detail matters, materials, colors, size, position, everything can make a client feel unhappy or dissatisfied. Rafi and his crew were very professional and responsive during the entire process and did their best to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. You still have to check progress every day to catch any little deviations before they become big things, and once again I praise Rafi and crew for their quick responses to all of our questions, concerns and reasonable requests for changes.
