However, we did not hear the sump pump operate under the floor when first installed. When the Harts crew changed the location of the pump discharge line, we can now hear the pump very distinctly when it operates, under the floor. I am requesting that Harts come back and listen to see if it is normal for the sump pump to make this much noise."

More concerning than the price was the quality of the work. The technician left old components in place, including a worn P-trap connection that should have been replaced. "Outside line from laundry was relined and an outside clean-out was installed- work was done in 2014. When drain line started backing up recently, I had a different company come out to clear the drain, thinking it was a simple matter of hair and lint build-up. They were unable to clear the drain, because they discovered that the drain was broken and filled with mud! My understanding is that a reline should last quite a bit longer than 6 years. I called NW sewer on December 29 and it's been nearly two weeks and I haven't received the promised call back from the owner."
