"The short story: Chris is nothing short of great, and I would recommend him with my highest 5-star rating to anyone. The color commentary: I found Chris on Angie’s list a year ago and had him do a few minor jobs while preparing to put my house on the market. I was pleased with the quality of work and his flexibility and professionalism, so I asked him to do bigger jobs when I moved to a townhouse. He has just completed a kitchen renovation, a master bath tub/tile/glass door installation, a complete redo of a half bath, and a million other things along the way. A plumber I brought in for a different job commented on the high quality of the carpentry work Chris did installing my cabinets. They are perfect. Chris stayed dedicated to this job from start to end (a couple of weeks), and did not spread it out to work on other jobs in between. The quality is top notch. He has great aesthetic sense and offers opinions when asked. And, he is a pleasure to work with! He’s flexible, accommodating and has a great sense of humor, which goes a long ways when you’re underway with a major project. I will use him again whenever I have a project, and am enthusiastically recommending him to my friends."

"I was happy with the work done by Matt and his crew on my roof replacement. Of the highlights, Matt excelled at customer service. I had spoken to several contractors during the bidding process and Matt clearly stood out as someone to provide detailed guidance and credible advice on the project. As my roof was being replaced as part of an insurance claim, Matt took the initiative to bring in additional contractors to build out an initial estimate for all of the work, to get things moving with the insurance company, which was a huge help. Matt took things a bit further and spoke directly with the insurance company regarding details of my roof and other work that was not started yet and was able to help me gain significantly more coverage than originally provided! Matt was always available for questions and promptly returned my calls and emails throughout the process. In one instance, I had requested that they hold off on installation of the ice and water shield one day due to the cold temperatures. Matt agreed to this with no hesitation, even though it required them to work the weekend to complete the work. Per my inspection throughout the roofing process and after, everything looked good and I found only a few things that were missed, which Matt took care of immediately. Some mess and nails were left behind after the work, but it was fairly minimal. Due to the scale of the work, Matt / MMP did bring in subcontractors to perform much of the standard roofing work. I would have appreciated if MMP was more forthcoming about this earlier in the process. MMP had someone from their team on-site for the entire process, but I think that they could have kept a closer eye on the sub-contractors work. For the more challenging tasks, Matt came out and did the work himself. He and his team worked hard throughout the process, working long hours and through the weekend to get everything completed in a timely manner and reduce risk of water leakage in case of rain. I will certainly consider MMP for future work on my house."
