"We needed roof repair, location and repair of leaks in a rooftop deck, and the installation of many cabinets, both base and wall-mounted. Our first contact with Doug Coons was about locating the sources of multiple leaks in a rooftop deck that had been an issue for the entire eight years since we’d built an addition to our home. We’d had at least three other contractors out to look at it and selected one to do the repairs. We invested thousands of dollars into that repair and to replace the ceiling and drywall damaged by the leaks. That “repair” did NOT take care of the problem; the leaking persisted, and all of the money we’d spent was wasted. When I called Doug Coons, he answered his phone on the first ring. He came out within two days and gave us a quote on the spot. I think this was a Wednesday. We discussed the timeline for the job, and I jokingly said, “Well, unless you can have it done before Saturday afternoon, it’ll have to be next week. We’re having a graduation party here Saturday.” To my surprise, Doug said if we needed it done by Saturday, they’d get it done. And they DID. His roofing crew was phenomenal, especially the crew chief. It was obvious from the minute he viewed the interior damage and then walked the deck and roof that he knew exactly what the problems were and how to fix them. He explained very clearly what was going on, why, and what needed to be done. They got to work and were finished and cleaned up and out of there well ahead of the party. We’ve had no issues with leaks since. The next time I called, Doug answered his phone on the first ring. (I’ve since found out that this is standard for him—something which is completely outside of my experience and really appreciated.) We’d participated in an auction to benefit a local animal rescue organization and bought thousands of dollars’ worth of floor model cabinets. They came “as is,” with some damage, and without installation instructions. He and his crew did an outstanding job of configuring, repairing and installing them. Their attention to detail and how particular they are about quality work is really commendable. We’ve already lined up two more jobs with them—drywall, flooring, wainscoting, waterproofing, and more cabinet installation, and I have every confidence that this work will be performed to the same high standards as the work done so far. It’s great to have a contractor who really DOES “do it all,” and I’m so glad I’ll never have to search for and “vet” a contractor ever again. Finally, my husband and I think his quotes are quite reasonable, especially given the high quality of workmanship."

"Drake and Vincent did a fantastic job sanding the treads, the banister, and the landing of my staircase! The staircase has an elegant design so it was crucial that the sanding be done by highly skilled and detailed oriented carpenters: Drake and Vincemnt both proved to be just that! The staircase looks amazing! Throughout the whole process they were reliable and knowledgeable, and they kept me posted on how the project was going from start to finish. "Ray and his guys did a great job on my home. They begain by power washing the house, scrapped all the loose paint, caulking where needed to be caulked and even replaced some of the bad siding the contractor before them missed. It took several days to complete the job and were here two weeks as I added other jobs along the way. Ray spray painted the whole house first then the guys went to work on the trim and windows. Then they went back to look for anything missed and touched up. I had the guys replace bad boards on my deck and they stained the deck to match the color of the trex I had them put on the bottom deck. Spot on! I also had them replace some plumbing and lastly one of my main beams in the garage cracked and even though they were done with my job Ray responded right away and the guys came over repairing the problem. Very pleased with the workmanship, attention to detail and overall they made sure when they left we were satisfied. Work was top notch and prices very very reasonable. The job went great.  He was punctual, responsive and gave me several options on how to best repair the project within my budget.  The guys were respectful, quick and focused on the job.  The repair is beautiful and has been an eyesore for years.  Had I known it would have been so painless to get this fixed, I'd have done it years ago.

"Project went from repair and paint small section of wall and ceiling to repair small section of wall and ceiling and painting whole ceiling and every adjoining wall on 1st floor. John was on time, worked very efficiently, had great time management skills and finished all work in only 1 and 1/2 days all by himself. I figured it was at least a 2 person job. John is a stickler for detail. Some areas that I thought looked good to me were not acceptable to him and he redid. Price was very reasonable compared with other contractor quotes and done in less time."
