"They were efficient in terms of the process. They sent the pad in a reasonable time frame. I did have to call a couple times. It took about a month to deliver. They sent the material which was packed nicely. There were 2 issues: 1-the glue or adhesive they used smelled badly. I had to put in my garage for a couple weeks until that 2-every corner was protruded, the table pad corners were too sharp on the mat .which poses risks with small children. I called about that and they said to put some tape over it. The manager called back to discuss the issue was. She suggested that I try to fix. it. The company might have done something to repair if I had followed up."

"We have windows that we bought from Thermal-Gard years ago. A few years after we bought them, the company no longer offered their services in Wisconsin. So, when we had a problem with one of the windows, they told us they would send the parts but we have to find someone to repair the window. My bathroom window would not open from the bottom at all. I had difficulty finding someone who would do the work. Found Superior thru Angies List. Scott and Ryan replaced the springs but since Thermal-Gard didn't send the correct springs, the window didn't stay up. So, after recieving the correct springs, Ryan returned and replaced them. No extra charge either. How nice! Very happy with the company.

"Updating our deck turned out to be a much bigger job than my husband and I had anticipated. John and his crew cleaned up and finished what we had started. They did a great job. They reused as much material as they could, which kept our costs down. Weather delayed us by a couple of days, but John and his crew offered to come on the weekend to finish it up. After they left there were a few things I wanted them to finish up and John was more than willing to come back (on a Sunday) and finish for us. He even did a few small repairs that were outside of what we had asked him to do. This is an extremely easy company to work with and they have excellent customer service. I love looking at my deck now. I would use this company again and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

"The job started out with some drywall repair but ended up requiring painting as well. Chris fully explained the process up front and did tell us that we might need painting. We were very impressed with every aspect of the job, the guys were very clean and respectful of our home. The job wasn't done until we were fully satisfied and Chris, Jeff and Brandon worked very hard to get everything done in a super timely manner to minimize the disruption in our lives. Clearly service is #1 with this company and we highly recommend. If you came to our house you wouldn't be able to tell where the repairs had been done. Thanks, Mudslingers!"

"All went very well with Zimmerlee Construction in the repair of part of a tear-off new roofing job (by a different roofer) which had resulted in some water seepage issues.
Mike worked on the project himself with another worker. The roof repair (along with some subsequent work by a mason) seems to have taken care of the water seepage issues. I'd like to thank Mike for his assistance in putting our water issues behind us.

"Ryan was really great at what he accomplished. The carpentry of new stairs in an old house involves a lot of problem solving and puzzle work. I'm really pleased with how they turned out. Ryan is very friendly, professional and made sure the job was done well and cleaned up when he left each day. He was good at troubleshooting problems that came up and we worked around issues that had to be redesigned so the job could be completed within both of our timeframes."

"They refinished our front and back exterior doors after covering deep scratches made by our dog and then matching the dark woodwork inside our home. They leveled a basement floor and built up the outside walls of an unfinished basement room in an extremely professional manner. They stained our deck so well it looked better than we've ever seen it before in all the years we've lived in the house. They painted the lower exterior of our house after it had been tuck-pointed and then painted the tuck-pointed parts inside the basement as well.
Other than that, they completed a large number of odd jobs that we pointed out throughout the house. For example, they fixed the siding on the house, painted our closed-in porch, and cleared out the plumbing in our basement tub, to name a few. They were extremely versatile and helpful and I would recommend them to anyone. Just make sure you know exactly what you want them to do."

"Overall, the project went well and we could not be happier with our beautiful kitchen. Roger is clearly experienced, does high quality work, and has high standards for other contractors he works with.
The planning phase with Roger was easy. We had a base plan before we started, but did not work with a designer. Roger helped us fine tune that base plan and offered suggestions on finishes and colors, many of which we went with including the install of a large butcher block countertop that we absolutely love. When the original quote was higher than we expected, he worked with us on getting it to a price we were comfortable with. We liked that he broke down the quote so that we could see what each part would cost which allowed us to get the remodel within our budget.
The installation was not without challenges, but there were no major problems. The drywall crew had to come back and touch up work we weren't happy with and we were delayed about a week because the granite was incorrectly cut (not the fault of Kitchen Krafters). Every step of the way, Roger made sure we were happy with the results. When we found that one cabinet wasn't quite right for its original purpose, storing our large mixer, he found a way to fix up that cabinet and make it work. We had separate contracts with the plumber and electrician, partly to keep costs down and also so we could work with an electrician we knew and were comfortable with. That made it challenging as we were required to do the communication and coordination between Kitchen Krafters and those contractors. Where we didn't need to get involved (drywall, granite, flooring), it was much easier. Were we to tackle another large remodeling project, we'd let Kitchen Krafters handle everything.
We wouldn't hesitate to use Roger again for future projects and have recommended him to others. We felt the price was fair for the quality of work and materials received. He has seen many kitchens and that experience was really helpful when it came time to pick cabinet pulls, granite, cabinet style and layout. The end result is a kitchen we love that fits right in with the rest of our charming 1940s home.
