"I was pleased with my experience with All States Exteriors.  I had them replace all of the siding on my house with pre-painted Hardiplank siding and also had them replace my wood shake roof with a composite roof.  Their bids were competitive and their work was outstanding.  I dealt with Wes, and he was not high pressure at all; he made recommendations to help me stay within my budget.  All States was the only contractor to give me a bid for the pre-painted Hardiplank siding; all of the other contractors wanted to install the unpainted and then I would have had to have someone else paint.  All States did an excellent job installing the pre-painted."

"I hired Adam to replace an old chain link fence that I had with a new cedar fence, although the actual start date would about a month away when I would be out of town. When that date actually got here Adam was here exactly when he promised to be and on my return 5 days later the new fence was up and he was finishing with the double wide gate. "I have two very large maple trees in the back yard and they needed trimmed badly. Marc was referred to me by a friend who gave the company very high marks. Marc came out, looked the area over, gave me a bid and I agreed to have the work done.
Marc offered quite a bit of info during the bid process and seemed to be very knowledgeable about trees. His crew arrived at the appointed time and went to work. They communicated with me very well and completed the work that could be done with the truck and bucket. When Marc came back to for payment, we walked through the back yard and I pointed out several dead branches that still needed trimmed and branches all over the yard that needed cleaned up. He no problem, they could clean up when they came back to take care of the dead branches. He said those needed to be done by climbing up into the trees and he would come back and do it. I paid him and took him at his word. It is now December and multiple texts and email since and I am still waiting. I learned a very good lesson. I won't pay anyone until the job is fully completed.

"We originally contracted Joe Bishop out of Wichita, KS to install a bathroom in our basement. However, after months of much stress and lack of communication with him and his partner, Joe Gunn, the job was never finished. We eventually had to cut our losses and find someone else to finish the job. Ken with Hummingbird was able to finish the job quickly and efficiently. Bottom line: I would strongly recommend against ever using Joe Bishop or Joe Gunn to anyone. What a nightmare! However, I would highly recommend Hummingbird Construction for a pleasant, stress-free experience.
