"We have had a Capital Oven with intermittent igniter issues for the past several months and called over to see if they can help get it back to working order before the Holiday cooking season. John C at A Action Appliance showed up in the time window provided, had the problem diagnosed/confirmed in approximately 10 minutes. He had the parts replaced and oven back in running order in less than an hour. He was nice, clearly communicated the problem and confirmed full price of repair before completing. Will use again in the future. "

"I emailed the Appliance Man, LLC to ask if they replaced glass in oven doors. I received an email promptly indicating they could help me. Shia showed up to get the make and model promptly. Made phone calls quickly to find out if he could get he glass that day. He came back the following day at the prescribed time and replaced the glass quickly and cleanly. He was pleasant and efficient. Would use him again in a heartbeat. <br />"

"Mr. Smith and his assistant were professional and were knowledgeable about the problem with my refrigerator. They came prepared to work, were on time, called ahead to let me know when they would arrive. They explained what the situation was and what needed to be done. Plus they were both congenial and were cognizant of being in a home and took precautions to be aware of their surroundings. I would not hesitate to hire Ulster Appliance Repair and Mr. Smith and his assistant again."

"The other day the cold water kept running into my washing machine and would not stop other than turning it off at the wall. I did a quick internet search and found that 80% of the time that this happens it is the Water Inlet Valve that needs replacing. I called another A rated local service describing this and asking if they could bring a valve when they came. The response was that they needed to come to do a diagnostic, then would order the valve and then would come back a second time to do the actual repair. This made no sense other than feeling that they were just trying to build up the bill. I then called Jose from JM and described the condition. Before I could suggest ordering the part and making one trip he suggested that we do exactly that. He kept me up to date with regular texts about the status of the order and his expected arrival time. The part is installed and the machine works perfectly for about the same price as the other company's "diagnostic" visit. Any issues with appliances Jose get the first call from now on."
