"Montco was one of 3 fence installers we had out to give an estimate on installing a vinyl privacy fence in our yard. Bill (the owner, I believe) came and one of the first things he said was that we should just do wire along the back of the yard instead of vinyl since there is already a wall of evergreen trees there. It would save us a big chunk of money (probably about 2K) and also make the yard feel less boxed in. He was the only one of the 3 contractors to suggest this and it made us feel like he actually cared. He listened to our concerns about keeping the fence as low as possible to keep the dogs in and was the only contractor who seemed fully confident in his ability to get the fence installed on a sizable incline without stepping the panels."

"The designer was always very attentive when I contacted him and would answer (in detail) the numerous questions I would pose. The two contractors who showed up at my home were just as professional and pleasurable to work with. over the course of the week they were coming to my house, any ideas or suggestions from either side were always hashed out as they would materialize and by the end of the project, the end project was essentially exactly as I'd constructed it in my head. The only slight con to the end result was more-so of my own doing than anyone else's, where the light fixtures I'd purchased for the replacement did not come with rods, so a couple of the pendant lights hang crooked."

Once a start date was determined, Mark and his assistants came on those days. When I asked for suggestions, Mark gave input. 2 baths remodeled. "We've been using Dutt Roofing Solutions on our 100+ year old (original slate) house since we moved in 22 years ago. Always responsible, reasonable and professional. Jeff runs a great operation. Originally he replaced a lot of slate on our main roof, we eventually had him remove the slate and replace with shingles, our porch (7 years ago) then our garage (4 years ago). The main roof was the last project which we just had him complete. We were in contact with him and he provided the bid November 2020 and we decided to wait until after the winter and he came right back as planned once the materials came in May 6 (with same pricing as 6 months prior). He was there every step of the way making sure all was in order and his crew was personable and always ready to answer any questions or address anything I added to the job. Jeff not only took care of all the rotted wood around my home with expert carpentry, he had both chimneys sealed and replaced the flashing, all the gutters cleaned and properly routed to avoid any further problems. I'm so pleased. Its true, he's very busy and I am a realtor recommending him constantly so I tell everyone, if you can wait your turn, you will be pleased with the outcome."

"We very much appreciated that Chris listened to what we wanted to have done and why; after listening he sent pictures of options and made suggestions that would help to make the kitchen look really nice.  He sent pictures as the work was being completed to make sure we liked everything as it was being completed.  After the initial work was completed, we added a few more things to the to do list and had the kitchen light fixtures, the range hood, outside light fixtures and replacements of our sun room skylights.  We very much liked the work that was done and are planning/saving for our next project and will be calling Chris again to complete the work.

.We had quite a few delays due to various circumstances---mostly weather,
unplanned hidden damage that needed repair, etc. So the project took
quite a while longer than expected. What impressed us is that Kurt never
took shortcuts or cut corners to get the work done more quickly. If you
want quality versus speed, this is your man. My husband & I are
sort of perfectionists and have not always been happy with other
contractors who were on a timeline to benefit them, but not necessarily
the quality of the job. He is very knowledgeable and does things the
right way. He is resourceful in addressing problem situations. He
explains what he is doing and why, answers questions, addresses concerns
and will make changes if requested. Kurt is very personable, easy to
talk to and returns phone calls. He is owner/builder, so there may be
times when he needs to do estimates, paperwork, procure supplies, etc.
that decrease the time he can be on site. For us, the craftsmanship and
thoroughness of his work was worth the wait.
