I chose to go with Alliance United because they were able to beat other bids and could do the job with minimal interruption to the tenants while the job was completed. The team inspected the pipe and walked me through the various options and benefits/costs of each. After initially completing the work, they found some additional holes in a connecting pipe. "This was a gas line repair/replacement job. Jose arrived as scheduled and ready to go. I gave him a cash deposit at the time of project estimate to buy some materials. I expected to see someone with a gas sensor to trace down the leak and do all of that pro looking voodoo. Jose is not that guy. He knows what he's doing, how the job is supposed to look and what materials are needed to get it done. The price was OK, but I'm no judge of what is normal and I didn't get a competing bid. I was thinking about doing that, but after speaking to Jose, I got the sense that he took good workmanship seriously and i was not disappointed. The gas smell is gone, the new piping looks neat, well laid out and properly secured. Plus he helped me with a DIY range top install at no extra charge. I'll definitely hire So-Cal Plumbing and Rooter again."
