"They are professional and thorough, but there is really no wiggle room if you would like something differently done. Choices in booklet are pretty basic, not a lot of options (for flooring types, door style, trim) This company is like the Anderson Windows of basements. (No doubt they spend a lot on advertising; There is a reason they are the top result when searching!) Expect to pay quite a bit more than you planned, but I knew if I chose them it would be done and warrantied for everything. Sometimes you just want to sign and not worry, and I would definitely pick Finished basements plus if you are in that situation and have the budget."

"Excellent. Completely gutted my old bathroom and remodeled it. Started on time and kept to the promised schedule. Great communication and the guys were very respectful and friendly. We gave Jim (owner) the information he needed to complete the remodel (pictures and diagrams) and picked all the tile, fixtures and vanity etc. Jim's knowledge was essential to the project and spot on. "Diamond Developments owner Paul is a carpentry artisan, supported by a professional, efficient and conscientious crew. Our house, built in the 1930’s had an unusable attic space inside of a dated (1960’s-70’s) room. Paul and team transformed the attic space to an awesome walk in closet. They also finished off the dated room and added built in shelving, it looks incredible! We appreciated the design and thought put into the project along with consideration of time period of home. Did I mention too that they completed all of this in around a week? When first meeting with Paul he listened to our vision and responded with several options for implementing. We never felt that any sort of “hard sell” from Paul, just options and prices. We are looking to have Diamond Developments back our place to finish off another room, hoping this review does not attract too many new clients before we get started :-)"

If you want to skip the middleman, Tersigni and Sons is the way to go. Before I found Pete, I received 2-3 other quotes that were outrageous—more than I paid for my first home to finish my basement. These quotes came from large remodeling companies. I won’t name them, but a quick search for "large basement remodeling companies" will show you the top three. Pete's quote was about one-third the cost, and the quality remained top-notch. The key difference is that big companies often subcontract work, while Pete goes straight to the source. No one is perfect. Had a couple minor details along the way, but nothing unresolvable. For example, one wall needed another coat of paint, and Pete rolled it on himself. He manages multiple projects, so be patient, but he keeps you informed every step of the way. Overall, I give him a 4.8 out of 5—rounding up!"

The timelines discussed at the very beginning they did as promised. Workmanship was fantastic.
