"It went great! I called on a Monday around noon, and Paul came out that evening to give me a quote on 2 replacement garage doors and 2 new, quieter openers. I appreciated that he didn't try to upsell me, while still making me aware of the best options available. The price he quoted was by far the most reasonable estimate I received. We scheduled an appointment for Friday morning, and Joe showed up on time this morning and finished the job within 4 hours. "We hired Young Remodeling to install a complex and custom pantry near the back door alcove of our kitchen.  We own an old home, so our kitchen is small.  The new pantry was/is designed to help add counter space to the main kitchen area by providing cabinet storage for a microwave oven, as well our toaster oven and coffee maker via a quartz counter top.  We also wanted to add additional storage via 4 custom cabinets.  Special pullouts were designed for storage containers in a lower cabinet, as well as a pullout bar beneath the microwave.  Young Remodeling did fantastic work on all facets of the job.  From recommending vendors, to providing design options, to ensuring quality in the cabinets, counter top, and tile, and of course the install - it was all top notch.  The end result is absolutely stunning. Of note, we would have given Young Remodeling high marks for the work in general, but they get exceptional points for problem solving. We had a severe challenge with one of our door options.  Working with my wife and I they were able to create a unique sliding door solution that actually performed better than the original design.  It looked amazing and didn't add any costs.  All in all, they are just fabulous to work with and their work product is of the highest standards.  We plan to continue to work with Young as we continue to remodel our plaza area home.

"I am very lucky that I found Vantage Point Exteriors. They helped me deal with an emergency problem very quickly.
I inadvertently locked myself out on the balcony of my condo two days ago without a cell phone or keys. Unfortunately I had to kick in the glass to get back inside. I needed to get this glass replaced ASAP. After a frustrating experience talking with a few other contractors in the area, I bought an Angie's List account and found Vantage Point.
Matt was quick to respond, and communicated very well throughout the process. The two gentlemen who came out to perform the work were very professional, and even cleaned up several areas of broken glass that I had missed. They worked very quickly and efficiently to replace the glass, and their workmanship was top notch. I also had them replace the door handle, so I can't get locked out again.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"We needed to get a mystery leak found and fixed; along with that I knew that the workmanship done by the previous owner was sub-standard and would need to be torn out and redone at some point. This lead to us deciding on getting the whole bathroom redone to the highest standard and right the first time. We had multiple companies and contractors in to quote on the job and although some were very close to what I wanted there was always something that I could say I didn't agree with, either their attitudes, ideas on materials or overblown costs.
Ethos came in to quote (David and Rick) and were the right fit. Not only do they have a wealth of experience that they can give when materials are being discussed but they also work hard to give the customer exactly what they want while remaining in their budget.
David and Rick did the demo very fast and competently, they kept dust and debris to a minimum and laid protective paper and pads down on all areas they would be using to transport the demo material. At the end of every day they tidied up their equipment and made sure they had also cleaned up.
Ben and Cole came in for the install and they have the same great attributes as David and Rick. Not only are they exceedingly professional but also easy going, knowledgeable, fun and work hard to make everything right.
They asked all the right questions when it came to choices, making sure that we were happy with every step along the way. We changed our minds on a couple of points that we had agreed upon previously and it was never made to feel like a pain or burden.
The job took a little longer than agreed upon due to a supplier not delivering the right parts on time. However, during that time I could look for any final touch ups that needed to be done. I will say that I did put the job under the microscope and whenever I found something it was always dealt with till I was completely satisfied.
I will add this. Ethos works hard and it shows. the attention to details is great. If you find fault, they will bend over backwards to make it right. The finished product is better than I imagined and I would use Ethos again. In fact I am going to be calling David again within the next week or so to get him to quote on another project I need doing. I would trust Ethos hands down and have high regard for them and their professional approach.
