"I’ve used S and R Pools of Manville for about three years and prior services were good. However, this year they simply did not meet prior expectations. I normally do not go out of my way to write reviews, unless I receive stellar service or horrible service. In this case Kevin the owner was completely defensive and tried pass my concerns back to me, the customer. For a business based on word of mouth in a highly competitive market for pool companies, I was shocked at the level of unprofessionalism and unwillingness to listen to a customer. Ironically I was getting ready to install a pool heater this year with S and R... needless to say, I’ll find someone else. By the way, do not confuse S and R Pools of Manville with storefront S and R Pools of Martinsville (a few miles away). The owner of that S and R is a fantastic person (fair and honest) and is well known to the community. I will continue to give him my business. UPDATE(08/14/2018): I gave S&R Pools another try and this time they really came through. We needed an emergency repair for one of our return lines and Kevin had his guys fix the problem immediately.
