We agreed to have him vent the two bathroom fans to the outside, and to install a fan to better vent the attic. "The man who cam and did the inspection was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable and helpful. He gave us an estimated life of 10-15 years on the roof of the house we were to buy. However, when our appraiser asked us to get a 2nd opinion on the state of the roof two separate roofers said that the roof needed immediate replacing and was currently leaking. At this point we had already spend over $1000 in fees for the mortgage, realtor, and lawyer. Given the high cost of repair (as the roof needed a total tear-off), we were forced to forfeit this money and leave our contract on the home. I booked the first date available, and they arrived at the time promised. I in several times during the day and felt assured that everything was being done as agreed. My questions were answered and we were consulted at various points as to our preferences on minor details. <br /> As promised, they completed mid-afternoon the same day, and follow-up air infiltration testing was done to validate the improvements made. <br /> Care was taken with tarps put down, old fiberglass that had to be removed in certain places was bagged up and carried off. After sweeping, a vacuum was used. Each employee was courteous and knew their jobs. <br />"
