That said, the company has many positive attributes: 1) communication is solid 2) attitude is positive and professional 3) final workmanship very high 4) pricing very reasonable 5) overall demeanor is friendly and flexible which is what we wanted. "DeWitt Home Services was contracted for kitchen work. They substituted almost all of the items ordered in the contract, including the cupboards, countertop, vent hood, and back splash tile with other items. Upon research visiting Home Depot, we found out the raised panel cupboards they installed in place of our ordered shaker cupboards were of a lesser value than the ones we paid for. The granite we ordered was not installed. We are not sure what it is they installed in its place and it has a large overhang over the interior of the undermount sink. The tile is not the size ordered. Some of the cupboards are not the size ordered. The vent hood ordered was white and they put in a dented, stainless steel one. The subcontractors were in our home after the company fired them as reported by the owner. When contacted & pictures/written lists of breaches of contract provided, DeWitt said they would fix things. To date none of the issues have been addressed; DeWitt has not fixed anything."
