The team was able to quickly help with our project of one complete bathroom gut renovation (tile, plumbing, custom built-ins, painting and installing all new fixtures) and an update to a half bath that included installing a custom vanity, new lighting, replacing the toilet and painting. We threw a lot of curveballs at them with our dated bathrooms, but they were able to incredibly work within two weeks to overhaul both bathrooms. Amazing! "Was a very smooth experience from start to finish. From the initial contact person, to the person that came to my home to scope out the work, to the supervisor for the job to the two guys doing the work. All were very good at their jobs. I just needed to have the cracked tub surround replaced in a small bathroom and wasn't sure that anyone would want to do that small of a job. They were up front from the start that if they were going to do the work that they would also need to replace the plumbing as they would not take the chance of doing work with leaking plumbing behind it. I then also decided to have a the soffit above the shower (from a previous owner's remodel job) removed which added a lot of work to remove the framing and install ceiling dry wall, making the job much more complicated. I told them that my biggest requirement was going to be that if I was going to pay for someone to do something that I could do myself that when it was finished I expected it to look much better than what I could have done. When it was done they exceeded that goal greatly and every day now I notice some other small detail that the nailed perfect."

For us he removed a wall between kitchen and dining room, relocated and replaced electrical, renovated a bathroom, installed floor, painted , added lighting. "Jeff and Max did an amazing job in our home, and I would highly recommend them. We trusted them enough to given them keys so they could work whenever they had the time. We provided most of the materials, except for specific items they needed. We initially hired them to renovate 2 bathrooms, but when we realized how knowledgeable Jeff was, we had him work on other projects as well. When you hire this team, you get it all. They can do the plumbing, tile work, electrical work, etc and you don't need to hire more contractors. That's a HUGE bonus! They were very respectful of our home, and protected our wood floors and carpet with high quality materials for the entire time they were working on the house. They are VERY clean and always made sure they vacuumed and cleaned the area before they left for the day. Plus, we didn't need to get a dumpster like other contractors asked for. They were able to get the job done well without constant phone calls asking questions. Only when really necessary did Jeff text me, which was my preferred form of communication. Other than that, they quietly did their work without fuss. They know what they're doing, and do it well. They completed the projects when promised and their prices were really great too. "We selected G and G after reviewing bids from other contractors and checking references. In both projects, kitchen and bathroom, G and G was very flexible with our meeting times and dates, timely with the layout revisions and adjustments, and responsive to questions. G and G’s recommended vendors for materials such as flooring, cabinets and granite were top notch but not overly costly. It is always hard to live without a kitchen or bathroom and Frank and the crew were focused on getting it done but getting it done RIGHT. Our Kitchen project – 2007 – took approximately 4 months, required the removal of a wall, moving the placement of the refrigerator, stove and dishwasher, and redoing all of the lighting to consist of recessed cans and pendants. We selected cherry cabinets, black granite, glass backsplash, and installed a VERY large island that seats 3 to 6 with a large workspace. The granite seating area needed reinforcing underneath and Frank worked with us to ensure it looked inconspicuous. Frank even designed ‘cubbies’ with electrical access for phone and tablet charging and storage. When you look at the cubbies you cannot see the charging cords or the devices! Finally, Frank designed a special storage location in the island for a wooden stool. I’m sure G and G would tell you we were ‘particular’ clients but the team accommodated all of our unique choices and needs. Our bathroom project – 2012 – took approximately 3 months and required removal of a jet tub, installation of a heated tile floor, installation of a VERY large shower with dual shower heads, floor to ceiling glass tile pillars and glass enclosure, and a free standing elliptical shaped tub with a tub filler. G and G was adaptable and flexible to all of our changes and unique requests such as electrical outlets under the sink to hide the electric toothbrushes. G and G also updated a second bathroom with new cabinets and counter top. We are very happy with G and G's craftsmanship and service . The crew was timely, polite and clean. We knew where they were in each stage of the projects and if there were delays, we were aware of the issue immediately (i.e. back order of tub filler, special design needs due the granite configuration). Frank is in constant communication with the crew and you, visits the site and follows up on the final ‘punch list’. Great contractor!"
