A little over a month later the furnace went out anyway. They tech looked at it and told us the control board as bad. On a system which was only a few months old! Even better, they told me they could not get a replacement any time soon - factory problems or something. Again, really? There is not another board to be had anywhere and we had to deal with no heat for about 10 days. Thank goodness we were on the downside of summer. The salesman who sold us the system leaned heavily on the fact that we would be eligible for a federal tax credit of up to $3200. Great... More in the next post"
