"After receiving a quote of $3000 to fix my AC and $13,455 to replace my unit from another vendor I went to ANGI to find vendors to get another estimate. ANGI referred me to STOT ON AIR. When I called and told them my story and asked for a replacement quote their call taker said they will send someone to give me a free quote but said 'maybe he can fix your AC'. Mathew Henry (owner operator) understands AC and refrigeration so he does not just replace parts. He had a capacitor on his truck and fixed my AC for $350. He is honest and knowledgeable. He could have just quoted a new AC and walked away, but he didn't. He was my Godsend and will be my 'go to' for all my heating and AC needs. "Swift by name, and definitely by nature! At first, I thought “Swift” was just their last name—but it’s also the perfect description of their service. Scheduling was a breeze. They could’ve come out the same day, but since it was rainy and not too hot, I chose the first appointment the next morning. I received a text with my technician’s photo and a call about 30 minutes before arrival—great communication! EJ, my technician, was kind, professional, and very respectful of my not-yet-settled, slightly messy home. He was well-spoken, got right to work after a brief friendly chat, and checked both the inside and outside components of the system. Believe it or not, he didn’t find anything wrong. He mentioned it could be an intermittent issue, but rather than guessing or upselling me on unnecessary repairs, he was honest and transparent. That kind of integrity is rare and incredibly appreciated—especially in a specialized service industry. Tom, who was with EJ, handled the sales side but was equally knowledgeable. He patiently answered my (many) questions and explained what could be going on with the system. He also introduced me to their Comfort Club, which is genuinely a great value. Exactly what you want when you're letting someone into your home. UPDATE: At 6pm i called because the AC was frozen (I thought.) EJ took the call, instead of the regular On Call Tech. He drove 40 minutes (I know this because the have a cool tracker) to come to my house. The AC was fine, again. I asked about a box on the side of the unit. Long story short, the previous homeowners had the power company put a Demand Restrictor on the unit which is limiting electricity to my AC and causing my sleepless nights. That'll be rectified ASAP, by the power company. "No Charge," said EJ."
