"Found Rock-A-Fellas on Angies List and I'm glad I did.  Bob examined thoroughly and patiently explained the construction flaws in the carport built in the rear of my home by another contractor back in 2009.  Because the original contactor did not follow standard building codes and use proper construction techniques and materials, I was cited by the City of Philadelphia.  Bob spoke to the Licenses and Inspections Inspector and tried very hard to figure a way to save the carport.  Unfortunately, due to the poor prior construction, demolition was the only option left to me. 

Bob and his three man crew arrived 30 minutes early and for the next three and a half hours methodically and carefully removed the carport, which included a roof and sides.   I was very impressed with their attention to detail such as avoiding damaging the power and cable lines, reassembling the downspout, tying back the power lines after the demolition was over/ 

After the demolition was over, you couldn't tell there was ever a structure.  

I hired Rock-A-Fellas to  remodel/reconstruct my nephew's bedroom, which had termite and moisture damage.  I'm also considering having Bob and his crew do a complete remodel of my kitchen, basement, and a new carport. 

This was my best experience with a contractor.  I give Rock-A-Fellas an A+++++ rating.

"Providers met with us first in our home to discuss our needs, share ideas about paint colors, explain estimate, and arrange a schedule.  They were very helpful in coordinating the colors we selected. They knew from past experience which colors were best and were open and honest about our choices. Without their help, we would have been less satisfied with the base color and trim we originally selected. Their experts' eye was invaluable! Their crew arrived promptly on the first day, and followed their predicted schedule throughout the project. There were frequent consultations as the job moved forward, and we were kept well informed about the progress. Final touch-ups were made willingly and to our complete satisfaction.  A thorough clean-up of our property occurred at the end of each day's work and when the painting was finished. Ladders and other equipment and materials were stored safely overnight.  In addition to being very competent, the painters were polite, respectful of their surroundings, and willing to answer our questions and receive our comments. The finished product is magnificent, a genuine transformation that beautifies and complements the other homes in the neighborhood.  We believe that the professionalism we were shown is consistent with what they offer their other clients in this area, and we will definitely recommend them to friends and colleagues, and will call them again for future painting needs."

"Gino was excellent to work with. Unlike other construction companies we had called for estimates, Gino returned my calls quickly and always arrived at our home when he said that he would. He answered all of our questions. He went above and beyond by completing some tasks that he did not charge us for. He continually kept us informed regarding the status of the work on our home and updated us as to additional things that needed to be done (i.e., the roof was old and we ended up having to replace most of the plywood).
Additionally, the job was completed in 2 days, which was faster than the one week estimate that he had originally given!

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.  
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"Amanda was really very good!  At first I was very skeptical, thinking why did I pay money to just speak with someone on the phone about my kitchen remodel project... but after just a few minutes of her addressing some of the issues/questions I emailed to her earlier, I knew it was worth it.  It was very clear that she knew her business and she gave me several ideas that I had not even thought about.  I told her that I would definitely recommend her to friends and I will very likely use her again myself for my next home project!

"John Schuber from the company visited on both days while workers were here.  Both remediation technicians were professional, courteous, arrived at appointed time, and worked a full day.  Always covered floor in our entryway so would not mar it. Technicians wore protective equipment and changed their suits 3 times daily. First day, erected containment area at top of basement stairs, removed moldy drywall and applied sealant to concrete wall, wiped down entire area and all items in that area with chemical to kill all mold and spores, vacuumed area with HEPA filtered equipment, ran air scrubbers all day and overnight. Second day wiped down entire area and items again with chemical, revacuumed area with HEPA filtered equipment, and left air scrubbers to run a couple of days over Christmas. Returned and removed their equipment and containment material.
