I went onto Home Advisor and found Badgerland Plumbing and called at 3:40 in the afternoon but figured late afternoon on a Friday would not be a good thing. As soon as I explained to Jared what my concern was, he said he would be out in 25 minutes, showed up on time and worked until he could assure us we were in no danger. He checked everything and replaced a leaky water fixture in the basement that he felt was allowing odor from the new pump that was just installed in our mound system to enter the house. He explained everything he was doing, was courteous, friendly and asked that we call him the next day to let him know if the problem was resolved. I did find some small stones and debris in the corner after he left. Likely from the old sump pump. I chose Blau without doing a lot of comparison shopping. I asked for a breakdown of material costs and labor costs. But was told they only provide installed cost estimates. After some further research, I now feel I could have gotten a lower price elsewhere, but I am satisfied with my purchase. Cheapest is not always the best."
