"Nixon and his worker worked straight for 5 hours moving 4 rooms of very difficult and heavy furniture. They then went on to repair a desk and hang a very heavy old mirror. They were wonderful. They are planning on returning in the spring to do some outside garden and yard work. I now know who to call when I need anything and everything done in my house."

Small jobs welcome

"From the first meeting with Ilir Iljazi, I felt at ease. I had multiple issues from trees that damaged a stone wall, stone steps and stone chimney. Punctual, polite, and listens to all of my concerns. Their crew were hard-working, and kept everything neat and organized, and when finished they tidied up the areas and removed all the depris. Every detail was addressed and they worked with the insurance company so their work was paid for in full. Lucky to have found such a wonderful company."

"Very pleased with the wall built and the customer service received... Guri was polite, considerate (tarp under truck, kept area clean), and a true craftsman... The stones were chiseled and time was taken to create a beautiful stacked stone wall. In today's world where it's so hard to find good people to trust with your projects/investments - I highly recommend Guri...."

"I recently had my shingle roof replaced and I?m very happy with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and completed the job efficiently. The quality of the work is excellent, and the new roof looks great. They kept the work area clean and communicated well throughout the process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a roof replacement."

"An excellent experience from start to finish. Charlie is so amazingly professional, gets the work done, no surprises, the price is very good, and the finished project looks beautiful. Charlie was so patient with us as we kept changing our minds on a $40K project. He walked us through our best options, and came up with solutions for tricky things. He absolutely saved us when in the middle of our project our well failed. He pivoted to help us with that by bringing a trench digging machine and digging the trench needed for the well repair. Charlie makes sure his customers are happy, and again, he was so wonderful working through a punch list so everything was perfect. Both the masonry and carpentry work were excellent. You won't regret hiring Charlie and his crew. we were really stressed about this big project, but he made it a lot less stressful."

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Old Greenwich, CT

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
