"Frankie Piazza is an excellent plumber. My machine room looks like a nuclear sub the copper pipe is so organized after he replaced two water heaters and a water softener. Recently he rebuilt a sewage lift station for us. The result is a vast improvement over the amateur installation that was originally built. I highly recommend him."

"They got here on time and it took about 45 mins to suction out the calcium at the bottom (what was causing the blow-outs) and put new (better - heavy duty) elements in. I'm guessing it is going to run me a little over $100 but I'm not sure yet since they will be billing me. They were quick, efficient, and didn't try and rack me for a new HWH so I would definitely use them again. <br />"

"I was completely satisfied with everything that they did.  They were really fast and on time.  They returned my calls very quickly.  They dealt with my problems really fast.  It is a rental house so it was important for me that they performed the work quickly.  I would use them again in the future."

"My experience with them went very well. He was extremely professional. I had multiple different companies come in and he was by far the most professional and most on the ball. Everybody else had to go back to their shop and then, I get an e-mail a week later. He did it right then and there and had everything right there for us. Their appraisals were actually all good. It was comparable to everybody else’s. They came out the day I called. They had a guy out here."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Olney, MT

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
