"I worked with Chris initially to recieve an estimate for repairs. He was really nice, communicated well and even contacted me for an earlier available time than scheduled due to an opening in his schedule. He arrived on time and was thorough with his estimate, even giving me additional information on some things I hadn't noticed or realized would become a problem in the future. He provided repair options for those items as well. He was able to get the final project scheduled reasonably quickly, and they had pretty manageable financing options that fit my budget also. Ivan and Issac were assigned to the actual repairs. There were no deviations from what their work plan was and what I had requested. They worked quickly and finished in about two hours, completing repairs to a small section of sidewalk in front of the house and to the concrete patio at the back of the house. Overall very painless process with very professional individuals. 10/10 would recommend at this point."

"Thrasher employees had to come three times after water kept leaking in below an egress window. It is clear that not all employees have the same level of expertise; the very experienced lead employee on the third team knew immediately why the work from the second visit had failed and explained it to us in a way we could understand. While I am very disappointed that three visits were necessary and I have not dared reconstruct my basement, Thrasher was always pleasant and attentive when we notified them of problems, and the basement is completely dry now."

"<p>The work done to cut out the old concrete, fill, patch, and seal the driveway met our highest expectations.  The work done on our front steps turned out to be a much more difficult project, as it required them to dig under the stairs, jack them up and establish a support in the clay soil.  After a difficult start, the owner came to not only advise, but to show his workers what needed to be done to complete the support so that it would hold up to time and wear.  Although it was obviously a larger job than initially thought, there was no added charge.  We were also impressed with the fact that  workers refused to accept a tip, even though it was obvious that they'd all gone above and beyond expectations.   </p> <p>This repair work was done last fall, and during the winter the driveway connection to the garage lost some of it's patch.  The company sent a worker out in April to repair this and told us to call with any other problems.  Everything else has held up as expected.  <br /> <br /></p> <br />"

"Jay Jay did wonderful job for a great price.  He was very punctual and kept me involved in the process, showing me what he was doing and why.  Prior to having him come in I had a plumber come in and run a camara in my sewer line and found a break.  Jay Jay and his crew broke through the cement floor, dug out 17 holes under the foundation and placed the cement piers in place.  He then raised the house until the doors and windows that were sticking started opening with ease.  While the floor was broke out he replaced my old cast iron sewer line from inside the house to about 3 feet past my foundation by doing a  little extra tunneling.  He did such a great job I had him replace 2 old basement windows that were probably 50 years old.  They then repoured the cement floor where they had broken it out and smothed everything over so it looked great.  The whole process took about 2 weeks. <br /> I got estimates from 2 other places prior to going with Heartland.  One didnt have a very good approach and the other was similar to Heartland's approach, but cost  over $10,000 more.  With heartland Jay Jay came out and did the estimate, and also came in and did the work.   <br /> I highly recomend Heartland Foundations for any foundation repairs. <br />"

"I cant thank enough Marco and cesar’s team for taking on my drive way job. I had people coming in from out of town to visit for the holidays.! The driveway was uneven and it had a lot of high spots where people would trip over i couldnt have that with the family showing up Their timing couldn’t be better since it was a last min request. They work pretty fast and their finish product is amazing ..! The crews skill level just shows how much time they have been doing concrete work I will definitely get back at them when I get another concrete job."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Omaha, NE

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
