"I called on T.C's on two occasions. Once to repair a faucet and another time to repair a leak in a baseboard heating element. The work, on both occasions, was performed with promptness, speed and high quality. I would recommend T.C's without any doubt. You will be also very satisfied. Most professional crew I have seen."

"I was thoroughly pleased with the installation of my new kitchen faucet. What I liked is that they went above and beyond. There were other things in the house that needed attention and Kyle changed did a "wellness" check around the house, the bathrooms and found that the faucet to the outside of the house needed updating. I wills say that their price was a little high but for my peace of mind, it was worth it. Within 5 days of my work being done, I recommended them to a co-worker who needed a hot water heater repaired and they are satisfied with that work too. Yes, I will call on InstaPlumbing again."

"We bought a very old home in Milford. Needed an external hose bib installed. Somewhat challenging due to the nature of the old home construction. Two others refused to even try. We contacted Alan, came to our hme, said he could do it, gave us a price and put us on the schedule. Arrived at the appointed time/day, and did a quick, clean, and timely installation. Charged exactly what we were quoted, which was a fair price. Pleasant people to do business with. We highly recommend Alan and AJR plumbing."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Orange, CT

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
