"I noticed a crack that started in my living room and continued into one of the bedrooms. The bedroom floor was sinking away from the wall. I did research and found Poly Lift USA. I contacted the office and spoke with the receptionist. She was very polite and was able to answer a few questions I had. She scheduled me for an estimate that very week. The manager came out and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time and answered all of the questions I had. I received the estimate later that day via email and was able to accept it on the spot. The next day, I received a call from their office to schedule my project the following week as well as an email reminder. Their crew arrived on time and started to work almost immediately. They explained the process as they worked and allowed us to watch. They drilled small holes throughout the home and then injected the polyurethane. Once they were done, they filled the holes with a sanded concrete and cleaned up the minimal mess that was made. It was done in less than a day. I would highly recommend PolyLift USA to anyone that is need of this repair. They did an amazing job! Thank you Poly Lift!"

"I can’t say enough good things about this company. From my initial conversation with Mitchell a.k.a. Mitch and his wonderful service and thoroughness of coming out and looking at my property and giving me a quote And being very detailed in the explanation, making sure I understood the product they would be using the reasons behind it and the timeframe. I felt like he really cared and showed a sense of urgency for my situation. Having a hole open up under your sidewalk traveling under your porch and having a four-year-old is pretty urgent to me and Mitch showed that it was urgent to him also. Then the foreman Rey and his team that showed up while I was out of town for business and FaceTimed me and took pictures and kept me informed throughout the entire process. If I could give you 10 stars, I would. I would hope to never have to deal with a situation like this again, but I feel blessed to have come across this wonderful company and these amazing individuals that took care of me and my"

"They are so excellent. They took all of their equipment home with them at night. At 530 AM in the morning they bring a truck that unloads all of their equipment and you never hear them. My neighbor actually told me this because he goes to work at this time. They were so professional the whole time they were here. At one time we offered them refreshments and they respectfully declined. They told me that the company actually provides all the refreshments for them as well as lunches. If I called the office needing anything they handled it immediately. When they started the project they moved everything from the Lani while they were doing the work. They actually took pictures before they moved the furniture so they could put it back just as we had it. Everyone form the crew chief to every worker was great."

"APD came highly recommended from a well known realtor. I contacted Joey on a Saturday and he was at our home the next day (family included, as they were enjoying their weekend). Estimate, proposal with drawing and detailed scope of services and job start within 2 weeks. Jeff and crew came out and completed within 3 days. FOR SUBSTANTIALLY LESS than every other competitor. I believe Jeff is The House Whisperer. No joke. Doors and windows open/close with ease, locks no longer need “jiggling”, floors are solid. Walls straightened out. And nothing rolls. All is LEVEL. We’re hiring them again for additional work. You should too."

"We were very impressed with the job they did. There was a lot of work to be done. They had to install two new beams, one on either side of the rotten beam to bare the weight of the house. They installed jacks every few feet that are adjustable so if they need to be adjusted, we can go under there and do that ourselves. The whole underside is sealed off and a new scuttle hole was put in. The dehumidifier works great. We also had all of our air conditioner ducts replaced after they left so that everything under the house is brand new. We are very pleased with the outcome. We would highly recommend this company. They completed the work in about four days. They showed up on time and put in a full days work each day. <br />"

"Expert House Movers brought a crew of 6-8 & came in late August 2013 to start the process of raising & moving the house.  My husband had done all the prep work of disconnecting the utilities & removing the furnace, etc. They dug access ramps to the old foundation/basement with bobcats.  They poked good sized holes around the foundation so they could put in steel beams and jack up the house.  Our foundation was from 1917 & built from old creek gravel cement, so it was pretty tough.  It took three & half days to jack the house & move it over the driveway.  It seemed really fast to me.  The only thing to fall in the house was a picture off the piano.  We still had access to the house through a tall ladder to get clothes, etc. that we needed. <br /> We took over the process of arranging excavation, concrete pouring, and carpenters with more local contractors.  Expert does have concrete people & others they use in the St Louis area that know exactly the requirements needed for the new foundation. <br /> After the basement was poured & cured (curing takes about 3-4 weeks), Expert returned in October 2013 to move & set the house.  They had been in contact with the concrete man for specifications, but there were no slots for the beams when setting the house down.  A concrete worker had to come & cut those slots.  We had a carpenter on hand to finish the sill installment & make sure the sills for the permanent beams was correct & set the support posts in the basement.  We also had a friend's tractor help Expert's bobcat pull the house back over the foundation.  While all this was going on, Expert was jacking and moving supports & placing slider beams & raising & lowering the house.  The process was complete in about 2 1/2 days with care & precision.  Some of the cracks in our house even disappeared.  Great job guys. <br /> Our carpenters returned to build a staircase & some other requirements.  We are working on re-connecting utilities & returning the furnace, water heater, etc. to the new basement.  We plan to move back into the house in the first week or so in November 2013.  It's been a long process, but well worth it.  Made possible by Expert House Movers! <br />"

"Richard showed up on time and with all the equipment he needed. He covered everything on the porch to keep the furniture clean. <br /> He had to remove several broken blocks which the plumber had left when he fixed a pipe in the wall. Then Richard filled in the hole with 6 blocks which he grouted. The wall looks great. I am very pleased with his work, price, and professionalism. I highly recommend this company. <br />"

"The package was to include caulking and minor repairs, all exterior painting, washing and prepping of all surfaces, and labor. Paint was to be paid for by the homeowner. We ALSO had to purchase the caulking, the blue tape and papers for covering the windows. They were to start on either March 31 or April 1, but when I called Mike to let him know they could start on Apr. 1, he said they had another job to do that day, and they would start on April 2. They did start on April 2nd, but never showed up until almost 10 in the morning, and the same thing happened on the two following days. Mike did very little of the actual work, he left many, many times, especially on the first 2 days. He seemed to spend a lot of time on his cell phone, when the others were working. His "helpers', Julian and Marty, did 90% or more of the actual work, and they worked well. On the third day, when they thought they were done and were packing up to leave, we had to point out to them areas that needed to be touched up or finished. They also had to use our ladders which were in our garage, as they didn't seem to have any of their own. <br />     I also hired Mike to pressure wash our pool deck and fence, and we'd agreed on a price ($200) but the work was done by Marty and Julian, again. Mike told me at least 3 times during the course of the 3 days that he hadn't been paid by Angie's List yet, that Angie's List took 30% of his pay, and asked more than once about the price of the pressure washing. I told him that I paid up front for the entire job when I contracted him on Angie's List. We were considering having some additional staining or painting work done to the fence by Mike, but changed our minds by the third day. I feel that he may be having some financial stress, but that is not my concern with a contractor. I expect the contractor to keep his personal problems to himself. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Orange Lake, FL

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
