"Rooter Pro Plumbing GA really helped us by repairing a leak that was causing us to have huge water bills. Other plumbing companies were afraid to touch it. It was a difficult galvanized pipe repair, and they tackled it intelligently and efficiently. We were very happy with their work, and very appreciative that they were willing to do the repair."

"Great experience, very thorough and their willingness to help surpassed my expectations. Nobody really expects or plans on replacing a septic system, Johnson Plumbing's staff answered all of my questions. Owner and staff followed up not once but three times while we patiently waited for it to stop raining so the job could be completed. Very thankful for their assistance and our new system."

"I believe they did a GOOD job at a FAIR price, which I appreciate. I specifically asked to make sure that the technician would be wearing a mask (during a pandemic that has killed over half a million Americans). They said that he would (he wore a gaiter, which is fine). But during part of the time, he had his gaiter off, and no other mask, standing maybe 7 and a half feet away from me, talking to me while I was, at his request, looking at my computer screen to see if I'd gotten the invoice that had been sent by his office. Man, I sure hope he wasn't an asymptomatic carrier, because if he was, I might be toast (I can't NOT LIVE in my house for three days). Is it really THAT hard to keep a mask on for 25 minutes, when someone's life could depend on it? Frankly, I'd rather pay a little more and be GUARANTEED that he'll keep it on! I **DON'T KNOW** whether I'd use them again or not. I'd be inclined not to, unless no other company with a decent rating is available. But Angie's list **FORCES YOU* to say whether or not you would use them again, and at least in this case it's not as simple as "Yes" or "No." *Maybe* I will, but I'd be inclined to try elsewhere, at least as long as this pandemic is raging."

"Derek was very friendly and professional, very proficient and quick with this repair. Derek had to remove the existing bush that grew into the piping which caused the problem, dig about 1 foot or so into the ground, remove the bad piping and replace it. Derek preformed these functions excellently in no time. I will use this company again. This is actually my 2nd time using this company on a previous kitchen piping issue, where the did excellent work. Would recommend their services."

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Orchard-hill, GA

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
