"We bought a new house that did not have adequate kitchen cabinet space.  Dan set up a time to look at what we wanted to do and give us a bid.  The thing I appreciated the most about working with Dan apart from the quality of his work, was Dan's honesty.  He has no interest in wasting either his or your time.  Dan recommended making some changes to the granite counter top which we hadn't considered.  He also suggested a freestanding hutch as opposed to built in cabinets, which made sense for what we wanted to do.  We decided to have Dan make us the hutch, a window seat, and a bookshelf all out of walnut. <br /> There were some delays in production, but again Dan was honest and explained the situation.  In all the work took about a month.  The person Dan sub-contracted the granite counter top work out to did an amazing job.  You would never know there were changes made to the granite. <br />  In the end we got three exceptional pieces handcrafted woodwork.  The walnut they used is beautiful, and the quality of the work is outstanding.  The pieces they created have become my favorite part of our house.  Our guests always comment how beautiful the work is as well.  I will use DC for all of my work in the future. <br />"

"Leslie called three days ahead to confirm the install date and that our counters had been made. Vern and his adult son arrived within the 2 hour time frame given. They were very careful to not mar our floor and to treat our kitchen with respect. They customized the countertop to fit exactly and even made one of the back splash to fit our wall that has shifted over the years. Vern's skill has made it nearly impossible to tell that wall is wierd now. Within 1-1/2 hours the old countertop was gone and the new one installed. WOW it's beautiful and we paid about a third of what granite/stone would cost. Several neighbors came to see and couldn't believe it wasn't granite. My husband called the owner Joe to let him know how good the install went and how pleased we are. We will call them when we're ready to replace our bathroom counters."
