Yay!), caring and interested.  The contractor  took the time to explain issues that could arise, particularly with respect to replacing aluminum siding over asbestos, and worked out estimates to include worst case scenarios ? both of which none of the other companies that I have used over the past few years even came close to doing.  They even very kindly set up my rain barrel for me ? a last minute request; it has already been put to the test and is working very well indeed.

The new windows and doors work flawlessly, look fantastic, and have cut outside noise too boot. The new siding and trim work look fantastic. "Overall, I had an outstanding experience with everyone from John Krause Construction. Their customer service was most impressive. "Power home did a door to door, after meeting with their rep for siding, we liked the superior quality of their vinyl siding with a foam backing. Our current siding had issues of water penetration and algae growth and frankly was cheap as the previous owner took advantage of drive by sales after a hail storm. On their QA inspection post install? They found further water penetration through the roof and provided me proof of that so we went high end with a GAF roofing system. End result? Yeah it cost quite a bit more than my comfort zone. But you get what you pay for. We are more comfortable, and since this occurred during winter? I noted my heat pump did not cycle as often. And we got our electric company assessment for energy use for a totally electric home? Excellent. Impact of the better siding and better roof."

"Zach came out to do the assessment on the part of my house with damaged siding and rotting wood. He did not try to sell me anymore than I needed which was very much appreciated. The guys that delivered the siding were courteous and professional. Placed the siding where I asked them to “no trouble or pushback. The installation team was on time. The project manager, Drew introduced himself and kept me informed of the installation team’s progress. The job was done in less than half a day. Very good looking with careful attention to replacing my security camera and tucking wires under the siding and cleaning up after themselves. No wires, wood or pieces left behind! When Drew came into settle up on final payment I was impressed that he took the time to look up a feature I was having problems with o a car I bought my husband. Going above and beyond. Problem solved. Highly recommend this company especially if they send Zach and Drew."

The guttering and fascia repair will be done soon. Emily Rinaldo, the HCR marketing rep., gave a thorough and lengthy (3 hours) presentation on every aspect of the roof. She is personable, professional, and knowledgeable. The well-manned roofing team arrived on the day stated and completed most of the roofing in one day. The roofers had been trained by HCR and were not day-laborers or sub-contractors. They returned early the next morning and completed their work in a couple hours. No unpleasant surprises here!
