He finished in 90 minutes and that included going back to hardware store for a different color grout because he didn't like the way it looked. When done you could not tell the floor had been fixed. (CF&D) for working with us to replace our old covered cedar deck with a new deck made of the VEKA decking materials and a bead board ceiling on the overhead. It was a class operation from beginning to end. Our sales contact, Kevin, did an excellent job working with us as we waivered on options and changed the work order several times before settling on the final plan. Kevin was always very calm and patient and we never felt pressured by him. Danny, in the design department, also was a pleasure to work with as we continued to make changes at that point. Melissa, in scheduling, was also a pleasure, as she kept us apprised of the timing for the work. The crew that did the work was exemplary! It was a three-man crew that worked hard from the time they arrived at our home until the time they left each and every day. They were very polite, professional, skilled, and maintained a clean work area - job very well done! Four months after the work was completed, we had to contact CF&D regarding a couple of issues. As we expected, their response was outstanding. Laura, our contact at CF&D for warranty repairs, sent a crew to verify the issues and there was no muss or fuss. They resolved the issues to our complete satisfaction in a very timely manner. Again, a job very well done! "Hired STL D&B to replace a failing, old deck. New deck was built perfectly and beautifully but there was an issue with the manufacture of the composite. Once informed of the issue STL D&B went above and beyond to contact manufacturer and get us new composite and re-deck. Becky (Deck Team Lead) is very polite and amazing, making sure we were informed at every step of the build. Aaron and Brandon (Deck Build Team) are, hands down, the BEST build team, making sure everything was perfect and taking time to get my input on their ideas for the build. Rob (Sales) is just an all-around great guy, not your typical "pushy sales bro", he took the time to listen to what we wanted and offered up solutions and recommendations to fit our vision. "We had a hard time finding someone to help us re-finish our basement as most companies did not think it was a big enough job (although we did want dry-wall replaced and repaired, putting up of new drywall and removal of a non-weight bearing wall (as well as building a small cabinet to conceal our sump pump and another one to conceal a electrical panel). Sebastian came out same day as I contacted him and looked over the room in order to work up a quote for me. Unlike the other contractors I had been speaking to, he really LISTENED to what we wanted (not what he wanted to do with the place) which was reflected in the quote he returned to me the next day. After looking over the quote (which we believed to be very competitive) we decided to have him price out a few additional things, and again he came out a couple of days later (we contacted him on thanksgiving and he came out the Saturday after) to do some more measurements and then again returned an updated quote the next day. We signed the contracts that Monday and Sebastian and his crew were able to start working that Wednesday which was awesome (again, most of the other contractors we had spoken to would not have been able to start work until February). Throughout the whole process Sebastian and his crew were wonderful to work with. He really worked around our schedule and were actually able to finish the project ahead of time which was a nice surprise. Upon completion of the project he had us "inspect it" to see if we wanted him to change/fix anything but we could not find anything. He then assured us that if we found something later we could always contact him then. If you want to work with a customer service focused company that will work around your schedule and deliver what you ask for, and to a great price, I would definitely recommend SASV construction, LLC. We will definitely hire them again for our next project!"
