"They set traps and came back day after day after day until the mom was caught! It ended up that we trapped an opossum, four baby skunks and the mother. To be honest, we should charge our neighbors as I think we caught some that were hanging out in their yards, too! As a first time client we had a $25 discount and the trapping of the opossum was waived. While it isn't cheap, it was the best deal I found and when the others were even close to their price the customer service was flat out better and is the reason why we chose CC. Cost: $150 set up, $100 per animal caught. They also provided us with a plan to eliminate our shed as a burrowing option...fingers crossed!"

"In the process of selling their home to us , the former owner was told by another termite company that  $7,000 worth of work was needed to kill both dry-wood and subterranean termites in the house and detached garage. Having had some previous experience with termites, I went under the house and looked for myself.  I could find no evidence of them there.  So I called Hi Tech, who had done termite work for me in the past. They don't currently advertise in Sebastopol, but they said they would come up for a small travel fee. <br />  Jim came out and did a thorough inspection.  I was very impressed with his knowledge and honesty. I have dealt with several termite inspectors in the past 30 years, and he is the best I've seen. It turns out that there were a few termites in exterior the trim boards and siding, but none under the house.  The other company wanted $7,000 to tent the house and garage.  Hi Tech said no tenting was needed, and quoted a price less than one quarter of that amount. <br />"

"Our Omega Pest Inspection was overall a good experience.  We requested their services for the home that we were considering to buy.  The inspection was very thorough and the inspector carefully detailed everything he found, and ended up being resolved by the seller.   <br /> While it was a newer ~10 year old home and did not have much rot or pests, there was one spot that the inspector identified as having minor water damage from a one time leak. It turns out it was an active leak from rain (it was a sunny day during the inspection).  Not a big deal, but still, it would've been nice to have been identified before we closed. <br />"
