"I had a Range Hood Vent installed as part of a larger kitchen remodel. I spoke directly to the owner of the company as he quoted my installation. Once they job was invoiced it was significantly higher than was was quoted to me. The owners answer was I sent the quote to the project manager. Be very careful of what this guy tells you. I wouldn't recommend this company nor will I use them in the future"

"The previous owner did their own work and both toilets were improperly installed. Especially the one where they turned the linen closet into a half bath. The toilet in the linen closet was not in alignment with the drain. Had Mr. Rooter not found the perfect sized toilet for the location of the drain, then they would have had to bust out more concrete and re-run the pipe. They stayed with the job until it was done. It required 3 days and at times there were two of them. They did a great job and it is great that it is finally right. Mr. Rooter is simply the best for all plumbing needs!"

"They were really great! The call was answered immediately after hours. Since I was able to get the water stopped after discerning it was from the irrigation system, I asked that they come in the morning. They were prompt, courteous, and assessed the situation. They would have been able to fix the immediate problem but since there were other issues with the system, they recommended that I might want to discuss with the irrigation company. We have used Dean Plumbing on several occasions since moving to this house a couple of years ago and they have always been completely dependable. I would totally recommend them."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Paint-rock, AL

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
