"I had advanced restoration out to do a 2nd estimate after getting an $8k estimate from another company. I was really impressed with Advanced Restoration, namely Marty. The previous company put together an estimate to fix a water leak based on what it "looked like"--but Marty took the time to actually find the area that was leaking (proving it with a water test). I was most impressed, because Marty's assessment was that my problem likely could be fixed entirely by a general contractor instead of him--call him back if it isn't. It's really refreshing to see a company admit what they can and cannot fix instead of jumping to an 8k "repair bill" that wouldn't have even corrected the original issue.
