Day 1 of the job, Brandon calls to let us know that we do not need to do the work as he took the time and effort to get other opinions on the installation of a beam. Again, character. He could have easily installed, but he took the time to do right by his customer and that, in our experience, is essentially unheard of. The work he completed for us-on schedule-was more than we could have hoped for. He really does great work, listens to the customer (we are guilty of making many changes and talking far too much), but Brandon is beyond patient and willing to work with you. If you are looking to remodel a kitchen, bath, or in general, look no further than Superior. You are hiring someone who truly cares about his work and the customer. Rare in any business these days. We will definitely hire Brandon when the time comes for our next project-no hesitation."

"We moved a faucet from our main kitchen downstairs to replace one that broke, and added a new faucet to the main kitchen for $425. I had been quoted an extra $500 for removing the garbage disposal, and decided not to do it. An extra guy came today who I hadnt met, and he said they could do it for $200 once they were there which I accepted, but it ended up being a ton of work, and probably should have cost the $500. In the end, they charged me the quoted amount which was very honorable. It was a bit awkward for me and my wife because the two of them obviously disagreed about the whole thing, but in the end they handled it well. I paid an extra $100 because of the mixup because clearly i got a great deal anyway. Would recommend to anyone, at least for basic kitchen plumbing work!"

"My first experience with Julio was an after-hours discovery that my water heater was going out. I urgently called a few people, then a Boston number for "emergency plumbing." The answering service was very kind and helpful in connecting me to Julio, and through a back and forth process of texts and iphone photos I was instructed how to turn off the water. It took a couple of hours for him to arrive with an assistant named Michael. They evaluated the situation, then offered to purchase a new Hot Water Heater at Home Depot, which they did, and then offered to continue the work and were all finished that evening--a bonus for me. Although I was a bit concerned about the process of having him do that purchase, I was given the receipt from home depot and the labor and installation cost was less than I paid the last time. I paid him the total with AmEx on a portable card reader. He apologized for the condition of the invoice he gave me, since he had to re-use one and it was a bit messy. Also, I wanted to have a TACO overflow valve installed, but our communication was a bit of a challenge, and I don't believe that was done. However, he did a reasonable job of cleaning up a tough basement situation. On the basis of this work, I hired the company again to install a new faucet in the kitchen, and to replace a garbage disposal. This time I shopped for both. Michael was sent at the agreed upon time, and did a fine job on the faucet. When it was time to replace the disposal, he consulted with Julio by phone and asked if I would like him first to try to repair the disposal, quoting me a labor cost that was lower than it would be for replacement. I agreed, and he was able to find the cause of the jam and I returned the new disposal. A happy result. This time I paid by check, I will call again as the need arises. I feel they do good work, with none of the high pressure or cost that I have had in the past with others doing similar work, and they are very nice people."

"Bill and his crew had been digging up the road a few feet from my front door for a couple of weeks in order to replace my neighbor's septic system with city sewerage. Knowing of Malden's lead-copper regulations, he offered to replace my lead water line while he was working in this area. In spite of the incorrect piping plans supplied by the city's Engineering Department, Bill was able to locate the shut-off for my service (which was buried under several layers of asphalt), do the excavation, and replace my lead pipe with copper. I hired him without getting a second estimate because I was impressed by the work he was doing for my neighbor, because a different neighbor told me his price sounded reasonable, and because the staff at the Engineering Department said that he was a "good guy" and in fact did some work for the city. I gave him a "B" rating on Price because he never mentioned/offered his 10% Senior Discount to this 75-year old lady."

So I purchased a "Big Deal" from Cuddy Bros. to put on a new faucet and drain. They showed up on time, wrested the old drain assembly off, and put on the new faucet and drain without a hitch. It went quickly and smoothly. Six months later the installation is still fine; nothing leaks. I am completely satisfied."

"I used MA Design & Construction for my kitchen remodel. Raquel and Marc were very helpful in going through the options from painting the existing cabinets through to full replacement. We started with more modest changes but after debate ended with essentially their initial recommendation. The workers throughout the project were professional and I never felt uneasy with them being around the family. As the project progressed there were recommendations that Marc or Raquel would make which led to a better outcome. Marc would also pick out imperfections in the work and insure they were addressed which was appreciated. We're very pleased with the outcome and would not hesitate to work with them again."
