The man who worked on my shower did quality and efficient work. It was done in a timely matter and I have a brand new shower!! Drainage works great and the tiling is stunning. I highly recommend!!"

"The sales lady come out talks about all the products see how you want everything. The other person comes out to install it takes a few days they send out only one guy for this project I have a shower closed off to add a shower tub combo. Now they told me the guy would close off the water he did but left a big ass hole in my floor didnt cover it or nothing they said he would. Got the tub combo in weeks later I see my shelfs falling as he did not even put them up right seems to me. Also my fixtures already are turning my tub stopper I had to remove cause it stopped my water from draing just horrible and after 15k I could have found someone else to do it for cheaper and correctly. I would not recommend this company. Do your homework ppl."

We were impressed with their problem solving capabilities. They really do take pride in their work and took the extra time to do the job properly. Mike also rebuilt the flapper system in our toilet. Another company had installed the system improperly, and it had been running intermittently ever since. "I had two 17 year old water heaters that needed to be replaced in my 2nd and 3rd floor attics. I had used SMJ plumbing for a minor issue a few months previously. Stephen did a great job, so I wanted to use his company again. I called Stephen on a Tuesday. He helped me choose the replacement water heaters over the phone. The order was then placed to the manufacturer. The following Wednesday Stephen and Tony promptly arrived and installed both water heaters in about 4 hours. They did a great job protecting the floors and stairs. They were both very conscientious about not making a mess and cleaning up after themselves. A friend of mine recently replaced his water heater for a few hundred dollars less, so I'm sure I could have done this project a little bit cheaper. However, for the extended warranty and excellent job performance, I feel SMJ charged a very fair price. I will definitely use SMJ in the future."

"So the project I am about to describe is definitely something a lot of contractors would've given up on. I had a completely sealed off half floor in my home (i.e. zero access besides a small 4ft x 3ft hole in the attic. Zack and Anthony agreed to help with this project and understood my financial constraints. Thus we split the whole project into two projects over two years. I cannot stress enough how complex and difficult this job was. We basically started at square one and had to rebuild everything in that space (joists, insulation, windows, subflooring, sheetrock, electrical, plumbing, etc). Zach and Anthony finished the job from beginning to end and even helped identify ways for me to pitch in to save on the cost of the renovation. The space was turned into an amazing additional bed and bath. The space is incredibly beautiful and well built. They also helped me out by installing the spiral staircase so that I could access the half floor. I've spent so much time with Zack and Anthony they practically feel like family. In sum, these are the guys you want to do your renovations. They think through the minute details of the project and do their work with a tremendous amount of effort and pride. They communicate really well and definitely don't mess around - they'll tell you the best way to do something and if the structure is safe."
